Valentina woke up with a yawn, and on her first sniff, she caught the scent of flowers.
"Julien?" Her mind subconsciously called out as she sat up.
Only she didn't see Julien, but she did find flowers littered all over the bed.
Her eyes caught her reflection in the mirror above, and Luciano instantly came to mind.
She felt horrified that she had perceived the scent of flowers and thought of Julien.
Although to be fair, he had made it a mission to present her with flowers every other day during their time together.
Picking up a flower, she brought it to her nose and sniffed.
A small smile danced in her eyes, but then it moved away as thoughts of Julien returned.
She has done him quite dirty. But it also bothered her how silent it had been from his end.
It was as if he completely forgot about her. A part of her wanted it to be true.
She was so happy with Luciano, she wanted to believe Julien had felt her happiness and decided to leave her to relish it.
