"Okay, tell me then. What have you done since finding out what Daniela did to me?" She asked, coming out of the shock of hearing his outburst.
He scoffed. "Wouldn't you love to know?" Turning his back to her, he began to walk towards the door.
"Now who is the one walking away?" She said with a raised voice.
"Get dressed. We're leaving for Neravalle soon. If you're hungry, there's food in the bag on the floor." He walked out, and slammed the door shut.
Valentina bit her lips, as she contemplated what to do next.
She had questions and it was obvious he wasn't going to answer them soon. Not after whatever that was that just happened.
"Ugh!" She whined, stomping to her room.
Valentina didn't hear the door open for hours after.
She didn't bother to check either. Not even when her stomach began to ring like it was composing a jingle.
"Like I'd pick up food from the ground as if I'm a dog," she said to herself, and then followed it up with a scoff.
