"Where is she?" Charlotte asked as she walked down the stairs with a bagged up package in her hand.
Henri looked up at the same time as Luciano. "You mean the girl who was just in our living room? She left in a hurry. Who is she?"
"Oh, I must have taken too long. Still, that's very much out of line for her," Charlotte thought out loud.
"Who is she?" He snapped her off her thoughts.
"That's Julien's fiance," she blurted, then followed it up with an oops. "I wasn't supposed to say that yet because he hasn't told the queen and the rest of my family. Keep it to yourself now that you're around." She warned her husband.
"You acted like you knew her." He turned to Luciano who had a blank expression outwardly.
But inwardly, his thoughts ran extremely wild.
There was no denying it, except it was the biggest coincidence the world had ever seen.
"Ma'am, did you say her name is Val? Like Valentina?"
"Yes it is, why? Do you know her?"
