Chapter 116 - Chapter 117: If She Were the Third’s Daughter-in-Law, That Would Be Perfect!

Chapter 117: If She Were the Third's Daughter-in-Law, That Would Be Perfect!

"All right, now that I've finished learning this jutsu, it's time to deal with these two Konoha shinobi."

Li Yao turned his attention back to the two unconscious ninja lying before him—especially the man who was likely the Third Hokage's son.

Even though the female ANBU, dressed in standard uniform and exposing smooth, fair arms, had an alluring figure with a full chest...

She couldn't compare to the allure of possibly being the Third's son.

Right now, the two of them looked like they were simply asleep. If Li Yao wished, he could kill them both instantly.

But... killing them right away?

Absolutely not.

At least, not yet. What Li Yao truly wanted was to make the Third Hokage suffer.

But first, he needed to confirm whether this guy really was the Third's son.

"How should I confirm that?"

Li Yao frowned. He had no memory-probing techniques. Earlier, he had searched their belongings in hopes of finding a signed letter or document, but no luck—

It was naïve of him to think shinobi would carry such obvious information.

Now he had no idea how to verify the identity of the man who had the Third's chakra signature.

Genjutsu interrogation? Highly unlikely to work.

As ANBU, they were trained to resist mind-based torture.

Even without chakra, they could tough it out—just like Sarutobi Minai did.

"In that case..."

Li Yao turned to the female ninja.

"One man, one woman… they must be close, right?"

"And if the woman turns out to be a beauty…"

He removed her ANBU mask—

A stunning, flawless face greeted him, completely makeup-free.

So pure and breathtakingly beautiful that Li Yao's breath hitched, and his body reacted instinctively.

Her already curvaceous figure paired with that elven-like face made it hard not to stir a man's deepest desires.

And she wasn't a girl—she was clearly a woman. Likely around 25 or 26, exuding the maturity of experience.

Li Yao wasn't one to mistake a TikTok filter beauty for the real thing.

Now the question was—what was her relationship with this man?

Li Yao removed the man's mask too and raised his eyebrows.

"A pretty boy, huh?"

He looked to be around 27 or 28. Quite a match for the woman.

Could they be... husband and wife?

That thought suddenly hit Li Yao—his expression lit up with surprise.

If that were true... then this was perfect.

"Don't rush it. Confirm their relationship first."

Li Yao calmed himself down, but couldn't stop his mind from spiraling into depraved fantasies.

"Let's test whether they care about each other first."

He grinned, coming up with a simple and brutal method.

CLANG CLANG—

Before the test, he used Vajra Chains to drain both their chakra. Then he left Black Iron Chains and Vajra Seals inside them, suppressing any natural chakra recovery, giving them no room to resist.

Next, Li Yao opened a sunroof on the Black Iron Eagle's back to let more light in—

So the male ninja could clearly see what he was going to do to the woman.

"Now then... which senses should I restore?"

Li Yao looked at the male shinobi and, after thinking for a moment, decided to restore all of his senses.

Better to fully release the Genjutsu, so he could observe the man's exact reaction as he laid hands on the woman.

"Damn it... Is this a Genjutsu?"

"Why can't I break free?!"

In the dark void of consciousness, Sarutobi Tenchu's mind screamed.

His awareness was intact, but he was completely cut off from his body.

The usual unconscious Genjutsu-breaking triggers had failed.

He now understood—this was the same powerful Genjutsu Li Yao used to instantly incapacitate the four elite Kumogakure jōnin.

But it was too late to realize that now.

He didn't know when death might strike—he could only struggle to reconnect with his body.

Suddenly…

He heard wind rushing past.

Then, he felt his body again—lying on a hard surface.

Then, a young boy's voice reached his ears—

"You're awake."

"Li Yao!!"

Tenchu instantly recognized the voice. His eyes shot open, and he saw Li Yao sitting cross-legged before him.

He himself was lying on his side.

Tenchu instinctively tried to stand—

But he was bound tightly in Black Iron Chains like a cocoon.

His chakra was nearly depleted, and sealed from within by both Vajra and Black Iron.

The only thing he had left was his voice—

Yet still, Tenchu twisted desperately, searching for his wife with his eyes.

But she was nowhere in sight.

The urgency in his gaze couldn't be hidden.

Li Yao saw it—

And a glint of madness sparkled in his eyes as he held back the urge to laugh.

"Looking for this woman?"

Just as Tenchu's face was about to fall into despair, Li Yao's teasing voice brought his attention back.

Resting across Li Yao's lap was a female body—her head tilted toward Tenchu.

That exquisitely beautiful face belonged to none other than Sarutobi Ayase.

She lay motionless like a coma patient.

Tenchu instantly realized—she was trapped in the same Genjutsu.

"She important to you?" Li Yao teased.

Tenchu's pupils constricted.

But within a second, his face returned to calm. His eyes became unreadable, as if the woman on Li Yao's lap were a stranger.

He refused to respond.

Tenchu knew—if their relationship was exposed, they would suffer something worse than death.

Though his father had never revealed what Li Yao endured during his six months in their custody, Tenchu knew what kind of man the Third Hokage was.

If memory-probing and Genjutsu didn't work, what Li Yao had gone through must've been unbearable.

So—

He couldn't let Li Yao know about Ayase, nor about his relationship to the Third.

Heh…

Li Yao smiled.

He already had his answer.

They cared about each other—

That was enough.

He continued, "Are you the Third's son?"

Li Yao asked casually, but was fully alert—watching for even the slightest reaction, both physical and chakra-based.

But Tenchu didn't flinch.

A true ANBU captain. His facial control and willpower were top tier. No visible change, no chakra fluctuation.

Li Yao sighed in disappointment—he hadn't gotten a reaction.

No matter.

The real fun was just beginning.

"Such a beautiful woman... all bound like this..."

Li Yao lifted Ayase's head with his left hand, and with his right, slowly pressed a kunai against her collarbone.

He looked down at Tenchu with a mocking smile. "Don't you think that's a bit sad?"

Then, with a slight pulse of Wind Release chakra, the kunai sliced through her armor—

Revealing a patch of smooth, snow-white skin beneath.

Tenchu's eyes froze.

He quickly composed himself again—

But Li Yao had seen it.

His excitement surged.

Just as I thought… these two aren't just comrades.
