Kemran's POV
Since that night, I've become obsessed with the Alpha. No, seriously, we were supposed to be enemies, f***ing enemies. I don' t know what happened to me, but when I woke up, I had this strange sensation, like I was alive for the very first time. And now, I'm stuck here in this cave with the two girls I wanted. F***ing destiny. Just a while ago, we had only arrived in this forest. I was relieved to see that the princess was safe, but that damn trainer makes me want to kill him. He favors Athènia and her friends, always grouping them in the same team.
After that, I went for a walk to observe when I heard a voice, and boom I ended up here, circling endlessly around this cave. Then the Alpha appeared. I have to admit, being in the same room with her makes me obsessed.
I kiss her . After we finished, she ran outside. I got up to follow her, only to see her thrown against the wall.
"Sh*t." I cursed
I rush over, glancing at the princess.
"What?! Do you want my picture?" said the princess
The Alpha struggles to get back up while the princess glares at her with contempt.
" What? Are you disappointed I'm not dead? Oh, sorry, I am the daughter of a sorcerer who also happens to be a king. Did you really think he wouldn't protect me?" said the princess
What? The Alpha tried to kill the princess?
" You tried to kill her!!" I said
" Obviously. I was sent here to kill her just like you, idiot." said the Alpha
I really don't like the idea that she hurt the princess.
" Of course, you were both sent by your parents to kill me." said the princess
The Alpha stares at her with pure hatred, then places a hand dramatically on her chest.
" Ouch, so much hate." said the princess
I help the Alpha to her feet while the princess ties her hair back.
" I don't know why you two are here, but I need to figure out what this alliance is about and who that woman is." said the princess
The Alpha and I exchange a look. She's followed the voice too.
" And I know you want to find out as well. So I propose a deal, we discover it together." said the princess
She steps past us and looks around. I turn toward the Alpha.
"Why did you try to kill her?" I asked to Alpha
" Because it's my mission." she replied
She folds her arms. Which means talking to her won't solve anything.
" I'll follow her. I want to uncover this truth." I said
"And you think I don't?" asked the Alpha
"Doesn't look like it." I said
She raises an eyebrow at me.
" Just like me, I'm sure someone forced you into this alliance. Yet you still tried to kill the princess without even knowing what this alliance means." I said
She turns toward the princess, who's walking into a third tunnel.
"Fine. We'll talk later." said the Alpha
She follows the princess. I sigh and trail after them. With every step we take, the torches ignite on their own. We reach the end of the cave and find a huge wall. We'd come through here, but there was another tunnel to the left. Now, there's nothing.
" Great, another wall." said the Alpha sarcastically. I just roll my eyes. The princess touches the wall, moving her hand around until she presses some raised markings. The wall opens like a door.
Holy sh*t. The Alpha looks just as shocked as I am. How are we supposed to process this?
We step inside, fog swirling everywhere, and see someone standing in the center of a circle.
"Mac.." called the princess
I raise a questioning eyebrow. Who the hell is Mac?
" Welcome to the Cave of Truth." said the man
" You are Macerson HOODS, aren't you?" asked the princess
"And you, you're the Princess of Harmony." said Mac
She nods.
" But who are you?" asked Naynah
"I am the past, the present, and the future." said Mac
" Mr. Mac, we want to know the past what led supernaturals to become enemies." said the princess
"Then see for yourselves." said Mac
He moves, and the fog thickens. Suddenly, we're no longer in the cave but in a place I don't recognize. Four people sit around a fire.
"Do you know who they are?" asked
" Who are they?" asked the Alpha
" I've never seen them before." I replied
" Nevine GRONDS, Nancia DELMAL, Karmil STALORS, and Ilsa BASTON." said the princess
What? My uncle? Why the hell is he sitting calmly with our enemies?
" Ah, Karmil, are you serious?" asked Nevine
" I've learned how to forge weapons." replied My uncle
" Good. That will be useful." said Nancia
" What are we going to do?" asked Ilsa
" I know our parents would never accept us forming an alliance, but we are the ones who will inherit our kingdoms. If we sign this peace treaty after we take power, no one will stop us because we'll be the rulers." said Nevine
King Nevine extends his hand, Princess Nancia places hers on top, then my uncle Karmil, and finally Ilsa.
Mac skips part of the vision. Suddenly, we see Ilsa, terrified, and King Nevine advancing furiously with a sword in hand.
" Please, Nevine we're friends. Don't kill me." said Ilsa
But King Nevine plunges his blade into Ilsa's heart. My uncle, just getting to his feet, screams.
" Nooooo!" shouted my uncle
Before he can do anything, he's stabbed. We don't see how, but then we see Princess Nancia holding a sword. She killed my uncle. King Nevine advances, and then Nancia stabs herself, while Nevine stands before her with blood on his blade.
"NANCIAAAAA!" shouted a woman
Mac pauses the vision. Everything is clear they are our enemies. I see the same fury in the Alpha's eyes.
" No, something's missing." said the princess
" You're blind! Your father killed my aunt!" said the Alpha
She shouts, furious. The princess turns toward her.
" No, I know what I saw. My father is a man of his word. Even if he became severe and strict, he is still a man of honor." said the princess
She turns back to Mac.
" Mac, you're a seer. There's a mistake here. My father wouldn't kill without reason." said The Princess
" My dear, he could have if it was an enemy." said Mac
" I know my father. He would never kill unless there was a valid reason. He doesn't even know why our three races became enemies." said the princess
I sigh. She won't give up, even after seeing her father kill my uncle and his partner.
" In fact, there is something. I wanted to test if you truly had a pure heart and you passed." said Mac
" Then show us what happened after my father's speech. I have a feeling Ilsa isn't to be trusted." said the princess
The seer resumes the part he skipped.
We see Ilsa sneaking away while the others are dancing. She throws something that creates a dense fog, then slips into the woods where a tall man is waiting. Ilsa bows.
" Supreme." saluted Ilsa
He turns, and the princess nearly collapses in shock. Does she know him?
" Did you do what I asked?" said the man called Supreme.
"Yes, Supreme. They'll fall asleep, and we'll execute the plan." said Ilsa
"Good. Their families are already on the way. By the time they arrive, they'll see nothing but corpses." said the Supreme
He laughs maniacally.
" ILSA!" shouted Nevine's voice
Ilsa spins, frightened. She turns her head to glance at the Supreme, but he's gone. King Nevine's eyes blaze red with fury. Ilsa instinctively retreats as he advances like a predator cornering its prey. Just as Nevine stabs her, my uncle rises to witness the horrifying scene.
As he steps forward, Princess Nancia beside him, something unnaturally fast flashes by. My uncle is stabbed, and the sword ends up in Nancia's hands. Her eyes widen in shock, she doesn't understand what just happened.
" KARMIL!!
He rushes toward Nancia, but before he can reach her, that thing strikes again, killing the princess and making it look as if Nevine had done it.
" NANCIA!!" shouted Nevine
" NANCIAAAAA!!" shouted a woman
Their families rush to their children. Then came the declaration of war, and each side took their path. We return to the cave.
" That fast thing, it was the Supreme. Im, wasn't it?" asked the princess
She asks, clenching her fists.
"Yes." answered Mac
" He's a hybrid wolf blood and vampire blood?" asked the princess
She presses again.
" Yes. And he is your enemy. You will be stronger together than apart. It is destiny that must decide your path, the future rests in your hands." said Mac
So, to sum it up: we have to defeat a Supreme hybrid. At last, I understand this story. If we fought him alone, none of us could harm him because he's a hybrid. The only path to victory is alliance.
But I don't care. I feel nothing no heart. I have to find another way to defeat Im. And I will.
