Chapter 25 - Chapter 8.3

: In Each Other's Arms

Night cloaked the bunker in complete darkness. The soft hum of the ventilation and the occasional wail of zombies were the only sounds breaking the silence. Min-jun sat on the bunk, his rifle beside him, part of him. Thoughts drifted back to So-hyun — his eyes, trembling lips, that kiss… and the desire that awakened every time he thought of him.

A soft knock at the door pulled Min-jun from his thoughts. So-hyun stood there, knees slightly drawn, eyes shining in the dim light. His breathing was uneven, trembling barely noticeable, yet Min-jun felt it on his skin.

"I… can't sleep," So-hyun whispered.

Min-jun gently opened the door and invited him in. So-hyun stepped cautiously, almost gliding over the floor, as if afraid to cross an invisible boundary. He sat at the edge of the bunk; Min-jun positioned himself close, their knees touching, sending a shiver through both of them.

Min-jun raised his hand, slowly brushing his fingers across So-hyun's cheek. The coldness of his skin shifted to warmth, and So-hyun's tremor ran along Min-jun's hand. So-hyun closed his eyes, leaning into the touch, breath becoming heavier and audible. Min-jun leaned closer; his lips barely touched So-hyun's, at first light, testing the response. But So-hyun responded — lips trembling, opening, hands wrapping around Min-jun's neck.

The kiss deepened. Min-jun traced his tongue along So-hyun's lower lip, tasting the salt of tears and adrenaline. So-hyun's hands moved along his back, fingers gripping the suit, tracing every curve. Min-jun ran his fingers through So-hyun's hair, teasing the skin, feeling every hair on his neck respond, trembling under his touch.

Their breathing quickened. Min-jun felt So-hyun's warmth against his shoulder, the scent of his skin — slightly sweaty, faintly soapy — filling him. Every movement was both careful and hungry: So-hyun's fingers glided across Min-jun's chest, back, capturing each contour as their kiss became deeper, slower, fuller.

Min-jun gently laid him down on the bunk, staying close, lips continuously brushing against So-hyun's lips and neck. His hands explored shoulders, back, sliding over hips, eliciting soft moans, finger tremors, and gentle body movements toward him. So-hyun reciprocated: breathing uneven, whispers soft, fingers digging into Min-jun's shoulders, hair tangling under hands, lips following every movement, leaving warm traces on skin.

Slowly, they removed their protective suits, feeling each other's warmth, every touch sending shivers across their bodies. Min-jun's hand traced So-hyun's thigh, sensing muscle tension and slight tremors; So-hyun touched his chest and shoulders, feeling skin warmth and strength.

Min-jun slowly entered him. So-hyun shivered, but did not pull away, hands gripping Min-jun's shoulders, feeling every motion, every pulse. Their breaths merged, mixing with soft moans and the rustle of clothing, every hair, lip, and skin touch registering. Each gasp, each twitching muscle was tangible.

Their movements became synchronous, as if two bodies and souls fused into one. Min-jun lightly pressed his lips to So-hyun's neck, leaving warm marks, fingers gliding along his back, sensing every muscle, every tremor. So-hyun responded in kind: fingers dug into shoulders and back, hands sliding over sides and chest, lips following each touch.

The Stella crystal on So-hyun's ring and Min-jun's bracelet glowed softly, illuminating their faces and bodies, making every trembling hair, every subtle skin movement almost tangible.

When tension peaked, they froze, breathing heavy but steady. Min-jun held So-hyun tighter, feeling his body fully trust him, while So-hyun pressed into his chest, sensing complete safety for the first time in a long while. They lay intertwined, listening to the faint hum of the bunker and each other's heartbeats, knowing they had found not only passion but refuge in each other's arms.
