CHAPTER : 0 : AUTHOR'S NOTE :
Author's Note : Hello guys I hope you all are doing well . This is my first cultivation type novel so I hope you will support it and if there are any mistakes then please point it out I will try my best to rectify it .
So before continuing with the novel I want you to read this chapter because here I am giving some ' author's note ' which includes some of my feelings and understanding about this story .
And more importantly in this chapter I will also give a basic information about the power structures and levels of the cultivation world in this story .
For now allow me to describe some of the characteristic features of the main character of the story .
So first of all obviously the main character will be a transmigrated person from Earth who will go to the cultivation world and his name will be Xiao Ming .
First of all the main character will not be an evil Young Master born in a villain clan where he is always put forward as the greatest antagonist of the story .
But at the same time the main character in the story will also not be one of those cold and indifferent main characters who just grind their power level each day without caring about the world or anyone else and always trying to hide their true power and brilliance .
More specifically the main character I want to write it the story will be a mixture of both .
While he will try to stay away from spotlight and too much attention he will also not become a super secretive person who will always try to hide his power and down cast his own brilliance .
The main character will not be totally emotional but at the same time he will also be not too much indifferent to the people around him as he will make new and genuine relationships in his new life .
In short I want to keep the main protagonist in a balance of both intellect , rational , emotional and have other human emotions .
I don't want him to become a complete indifferent person who will only care about his survival by saying that he is in a dangerous cultivation world and at the same time I don't want him to go forward in every spotlight situation by himself .
What I want is a balance of both when necessary .
So I hope you understand my point of view and only after knowing this should you move forward with the story .
Now let's talk about the power systems of this cultivation world :
Cultivation Base Ranking :
( 1 ) Qi Sensing : This Stage is divided into - Initial Qi Sensing , Mid Qi Sensing and Complete Qi sensing stages .
( 2 ) Core Formation : This Stage is divided into three parts - Initial Core Formation , Mid Core Formation and Complete Core Formation .
( 3 ) Mederian Unlocking : This Stage is divided into three parts - Initial Mederian Unlocking , Mid Mederian Unlocking and Complete Mederian Unlocking .
( 4 ) Dou Qi Body Conditioning Stage : This Stage is divided into three parts - Beginners Stage , Qi Concentration Stage and Stone Breaking Stage .
When someone reaches this stage they can participate in the inner selection exams to become an inner disciple .
( 5) Dou deciple Stage : This stage is divided into 6 parts - from 1 star Dou Deciple to 6 stars Dou Deciple .
( 6 ) Dou Practitioner : This stage is also divided in 6 levels represented by 6 stars .
( 7 ) Dou Master / Sky Weaver : This stage is also called Sky Weaver because from this stage a cultivator learns the basic knowledge of how to fly using Dou Qi . This stage is also divided into 6 parts represented by 6 stars .
Once a cultivator reached this level of mastery they can become an ordinary elder .
( 8 ) Dou Grandmaster : This level is also divided into 6 parts .
( 9 ) Dou King : This level is also divided into 6 parts .
( 10 ) Dou Emperor : This level is also divided into 6 parts .
On reaching the Dou Emperor level one can become eligible for becoming a peak elder or important elder position .
( 11 ) Dou Spirit : This level is also divided into 6 parts and is noticeable for its growth in spirit power .
On reaching the Dou Spirit level a person is eligible to compete for the sect master position .
( 12 ) Half Saint : This level is divided into four parts represented by two moons and two suns .
( 13 ) Dou Saint : This level is divided into 4 parts represented by two moons and two suns .
If you reach this level you would be considered as one of the top chain powerhouses in the cultivation world .
( 14 ) Mythical Lord Stage : Very less information is available in the cultivation world about this stage .
The reason why I did not provide information about the last two stages is because I want to keep it a suspense till later because this mystery that is also a part of the story .
Martial Arts Techniques ( Skills ) Ranking :
( 1 ) Yellow Grade : These techniques are divided into three sub parts - Low , Mid and High .
( 2 ) Blue Grade : These techniques are superior to the yellow ranked techniques and are also divided into three sub parts .
( 3 ) Purple Grade : These techniques are superior to the Blue grade techniques and are also divided into three sub parts like the Blue grade .
( 4 ) Grey Grade : Divided into 3 parts - Low , Mid And High .
( 5 ) Black Grade : Divided into 3 parts - Low , Mid And High .
( 6 ) Golden Grade : Divided into 3 parts - Low , Mid And High .
( 7 ) Spirit Grade : Divided into 3 parts .
( 8 ) Half Saint Grade : Divided into 3 parts .
( 9 ) Saint Grade : Divided into 3 parts .
( 10 ) Mythical Grade : Almost no information is available in the cultivation world about this and his considered a total myth .
Pill Ranking and Alchemist Level ( the ranking of an alchemist is determined by what rank of Alchemist pill he can make . ) :
( 1 ) 1st tier : It can be commonly used by cultivators . Any Alchemist who can reach this level are called Alchemy beginners .
( 2 ) 2nd tier : Any Alchemist who can reach this level are called Alchemy disciple .
( 3 ) 3rd tier : Hard to find and requires someone to give orders to special Alchemist to make one for them . Other options can be brought from other places like auction hall or Alchemist hall . Any Alchemist who can reach this level are called Alchemy master .
( 4 ) 4th tier : Anyone who can create a 4th tier pill is given the title Alchemy lord .
( 5 ) 5th tier : Anyone who can create a 5th tier pill is given the title of Alchemy king .
( 6 ) 6th tier : Anyone who can reach this level are called Alchemy Emperor .
( 7 ) 7th tier : Anyone who has reached this level are called Alchemy Saint and such pills are extremely difficult to find and takes a long time with various resources to make .
( 8 ) 8th tier : This level of alchemy pills or technique are considered mythical in nature and only few stories of them being in hidden treasury in various ancient civilization ruin are available .
Weapons or Items Ranking : ( each grade is subdivided into low medium and high . )
( 1 ) Yellow Grade : Most common items used by the regular cultivators .
( 2 ) Blue Grade : Better than yellow grade and can be found in various places .
( 3 ) Earth Grade : Much rare to find then the previous two grades .
( 4 ) Sky Grade : This grade of items have far greater durability then the previous ones and if you are lucky enough your Sky grade item may have some unique abilities as well . However the chances are only 10 percent .
( 5 ) Spirit Grade : In this grade the chances of getting unique abilities in the item increase more from 10% to 40% . And even without any special effect the spirit grade is considered twice as more powerful against a high tier sky grade with abilities .
( 6 ) Half Saint Grade : In this grade the item definitely get's a new ability and can even have 2 unique abilities at the same time if you are lucky .
( 7 ) Saint Grade : This is the strongest grade item considered by the people of the cultivation world and many few are available .
( 8 ) Mythical Grade : Not much information is known about it in the cultivation world and hence many believe that it is only a made up story. It is exactly because of it that most people believe that the Saint grade is the strongest .
Types Of Dou Qi :
( Here it is important to note that in this cultivation world every martial artist is born with a specific type of talent for either one or two types of Dou Qi and their aptitude for them is the highest hence they practice them specifically . However it does not mean that they cannot use other types of Dou Qi .
Through hard work and dedication they may have a chance of using the other types as well but it is increasingly difficult and so most choose not to waste the time and focus on their own specialties .
At the same time while one may be born with speciality towards one or two types of Dou Qi there are some other external methods by which proficiency can be increased for other types as well however this techniques are often highly risky and expensive .
And here I want to clarify that the main character will not have all types of Dou Qi from the start as I have said before the main character will work his way to gain his strength and power through his hard , smart and dedicated work but yes he will be born with two types of Dou Qi proficiency .

( 1 ) Earth : Dou Qi of this affinity is considered the most common in the cultivation world and is known for its strong defences and durability .
( 2 ) Fire : Dou Qi of this affinity is considered aggressive and is known for it's offensive power and is hard to master and control .
( 3 ) Wind : Dou Qi of this affinity is well known for its speed of movement , scouting abilities and sharp offensive moves .
( 4 ) Water : Dou Qi of this affinity is considered the most adaptable as it possesses good offensive capabilities and good defensive capabilities and at the same time gives affinity for small healing techniques .
( 5 ) Lightning : Dou Qi of this affinity is somewhat rare while not as much rare as ice , darkness , light and wood affinity it gives faster movement then wind based affinity and offensive power even sometimes stronger than high grade fire type affinity . However it is even harder to control and most importantly is stamina and Dou Qi intensive requiring a huge amount to use .
( 6 ) Poison : Dou Qi of this affinity is extremely rare to find especially in humans and is considered both good and bad because of it's various characteristics .
( 7 ) Darkness : Dou Qi of this affinity is very rare to find and unlike what it's name might sound it is not consider a bad or evil power in nature . While some of its techniques are considered evil and somewhat less accepted then the other affinities overall it is still considered one of the main affinities of the Dou Qi .
( 8 ) Light : Dou Qi of this affinity is even more rare to find than the one with darkness and it gives strong abilities including the ability to purify and healing .
( 9 ) Blood : Dou Qi of this affinity are considered evil by most of the cultivation world as it often involves dark methods to gain strength like corruption and devouring .
( 10 ) Lava : Dou Qi of this affinity is considered very rare and direct opposite to ice affinity gives very strong offensive capabilities .
Soul Ranking :
( Power of soul and its ranking is extremely important for a cultivator especially an Alchemist and there are 8 soul stages just like 8 Alchemy rank all directly proportional to each other that is to say a 1st tier alchemist would need at least 1st tier soul power and a fourth tier Alchemist will require a 4th tier soul power .
Each tier in soul power ranking is divided into 4 stages - beginner ,proficient , expert and mature . )
So this was the basic about the power and the ranking of various things in this cultivation world that I created . Obviously here I have only given the basic overview and the real details and information will be given in the upcoming chapters .
So I hope you will read this chapter carefully before starting with the main story and there will be more ' author's note ' and information given in the following chapters so I hope you will read them as well .
This is my first time writing an
novel in this manner specially a cultivation one but I will try to do my best that everyone can understand the context and in future I will also release more novels .
