Third person point of view
It was already Monday in the blink of an eye. Junkyu unexpectedly woke up a little late and had to rush in order to not be late to work. He quickly walked in and as he was near the door, he saw people getting in the elevator. He walked quickly but still couldn't catch it. He let out a grunt. He pressed the button and waited for it to come down.
" Good morning ". Junkyu turned to the side and saw Haruto. " Good morning sir ". Haruto smiled and Junkyu heard the doors opening. The other elevator came down. They both noticed and got in it. There was nobody else, so Junkyu pressed the button for their floor. He stood back and felt a little cautious.
He was thinking of making a conversation but suddenly heard a rumble and the lights flickered. Both of them were shocked. Junkyu looked up and held onto the railing. And then they couldn't hear the light buzz of the moving elevator. Haruto frowned. " Did it stop ? " He mumbled and Junkyu's heart dropped.
Haruto did have good senses being an alpha. He could say it did. The number on the display also didn't change. Junkyu was starting to feel scared. " What do we do sir ? " Haruto was comparatively calm. He took out his phone. " Does your phone have a signal ? " Junkyu took his phone out and it didn't. There really seemed to be some problem that day.
" No sir ". Haruto let out a hum. " Mine too. Let's see and wait. They will find out and repair it ". He pressed the emergency button. Junkyu was still nervous. Haruto put his things at the back. Junkyu raised his phone and tried to see if he would get any signal. When he was at the corner, it was there. But he had to keep staying in the air.
He raised his heels and it looked better. Haruto was about to tell him to be careful but before he could, Junkyu tripped. Haruto quickly moved forward holding him. Junkyu could smell Haruto's scent at the sudden contact. It was Whiskey and gave off a cool aura. Haruto put Junkyu on his feet and Junkyu moved away. " Sorry ". " Be careful ". Junkyu nodded.
He pointed in the direction. " There seems to be a signal if we raise here ". Haruto was taller than Junkyu. He took out his phone and raised it in the direction in which Junkyu previously did. Junkyu was right. Haruto quickly sent a message to Jeongwoo explaining the situation. Jeongwoo was stunned when he found out Haruto was the one in the elevator.
He said that they already called the rescue team and are currently checking what went wrong. He also assured them that it was probably a problem with the belt and will be done quickly. Haruto replied with an okay and told him about the signal problem too. Jeongwoo understood it. Haruto lowered his phone and explained it to Junkyu.
Junkyu did relax a bit after hearing that. Haruto moved back and sat down on the floor. Junkyu also slowly did so. Haruto noticed that Junkyu was still a little scared. " It is really going to be fine ". Junkyu nodded. Haruto smiled. They just sat in silence. " What did sir have for breakfast ? " Haruto chuckled at the question.
" I had cereal. I felt too lazy to make anything ". Junkyu nodded. Haruto tilted his head. " What about Junkyu-ssi ? " " Toast ". Haruto nodded. Junkyu let out a sigh. " I woke up late and rushed so much only to get stuck like this ". Haruto laughed. " Sorry ". He did not want to come off as rude but Junkyu did not mind it.
" It is fine ". Junkyu assured with a smile. He looked around and said. " I guess it is better that I am not alone. It would be too scary. I don't think I will ever get on an elevator alone from now on ". Haruto laughed lightly, finding it amusing. " Really ? " Junkyu shrugged. Haruto shook his head with a chuckle.
They were silent for a few seconds. " Is your team leader still making you work over time ? " Haruto asked and Junkyu blinked. " Why ? " " I also have an experience where I had to take care of an employee who worked overtime and drank too much because of the stress ". Junkyu paused for three seconds.
He realized he definitely spouted something he shouldn't when he was drunk. He immediately got on his knees, shocking Haruto. " Sit properly ". Haruto moved forward making Junkyu sit cross legged again. Junkyu sat back properly again. " I was just kidding ". Haruto clarified immediately. He also panicked for a second there.
Junkyu let out a big sigh with a pitiful expression and nodded. " I won't tell him. Don't worry ". Haruto reassured with a smile. Junkyu gave a small bow. " Thank you so much. And he actually apologized to me after we were done with those reports. He was also really busy at that time and didn't check properly. But I had a lot of headache from working so much on the computer ".
Haruto nodded. Junkyu leaned towards Haruto. " I really think our team leader is so much better than a lot of others ". He said it like he was sharing a secret. Haruto gave a nod, impressed. He cocked an eyebrow. " How about me ? " Haruto questioned and Junkyu looked flustered. " Eh ? " He rubbed his neck.
In fact, Haruto himself did not know why he asked that. Junkyu still answered honestly. " Sir is also really great. Didn't I already tell you ? That you were cool and very good. What else do you want to hear ? " Haruto thought about it. " Hmm... maybe I also want to be called a good guy ". " You are ! " Junkyu replied instantly.
" I am the person who can testify for it. You are really a nice person sir ". Junkyu declared with confidence. Haruto chuckled. " I feel like I am using my power to make you say it ". " NO ! I really mean it. After interacting this much, how can I not say that ? You are ! " Haruto nodded and found the righteous expression cute. " Thank you ". Junkyu smiled.
