The Chairman leaned back in his chair, a slow smile spreading across his face.
Oh, this was delicious.
His son was getting involved with the daughter of people he had had killed. The universe did have a sense of humor.
Another knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. "Your guest is here, sir," his secretary's voice called through the door.
The Chairman's smile widened. "Excellent. Bring him in."
The door opened, and Im Jaechan walked in, his gray hair slicked back, his expensive suit immaculate.
"Chairman Seo," Im greeted, bowing slightly. "Thank you for agreeing to meet on such short notice."
"Im Jaechan." The Chairman stood, gesturing to the chair across from his desk. "Please, sit. We have much to discuss."
As Im settled into the chair, the Chairman poured two glasses of whiskey from the crystal decanter on his desk. He handed one to Im, then raised his own glass.
"To profitable partnerships," he said smoothly.
