Dugu Bo was stunned for a moment, then frowned. "This is something we need to deliberate on carefully."
"Mm." Yang Yunhai nodded. "Grandfather, let's head back and discuss this further."
The two returned to their residence. After a round of discussions, everyone confirmed their next steps.
After lunch, in the afternoon, Yang Yunhai followed Dugu Bo to the academy dormitory where he and Ming Hongchen engaged in a deep discussion about poison-type martial souls and toxicology.
Yang Yunhai had to admit, Ming Hongchen was a rare research talent. Moreover, as a figure of influence from the Sun Moon Continent, he had access to a wide range of knowledge. In terms of poison, he had undoubtedly absorbed the essence of his continent, with unique and profound insights.
Especially regarding mixed poison research—Yang Yunhai thought, 'In my previous life, this man would have been a genius chemist.'

Upon hearing this, Xu Fengya also requested to come along. With her Radiant Dragon martial soul of fire attribute, she could counter poisons to some extent and provide support if they encountered powerful poison-type soul beasts.
Dugu Bo didn't refuse.

"I just hope that people on the continent can better apply martial souls to daily life," Yang Yunhai replied with a smile.

If the land stays fertile longer, crops and vegetables grow better, and there's less need to recklessly clear wilderness. One person might make little difference, but what about many? Martial souls can be inherited. What if entire families or villages used their martial souls this way?"
"And if used as food martial souls—feeding poultry, perhaps the chickens and ducks could grow faster, with better meat?"
"Even so-called trash martial souls, like the continent's infamous Blue Silver Grass, could be used to feed livestock, cutting down on labor and cost."
"Of course, these are only guesses. But someone needs to propose them, to let people try. After all, what's the harm in trying? What if it works?"
"And this leads to my second theory: the daily application of martial souls."
"My strength alone is limited. I can't think of every possibility. So I want to share my ideas and let more people experiment. If all the continent's people explore ways to use martial souls in daily life, then someday, I will hear good news."
'This might even be a way to restore the ecology of the Sun Moon Continent,' Ming Hongchen thought, deeply moved.
"Xiao Hai, your theory is extraordinary," Ming Hongchen said aloud.
The logic was simple, but without someone daring to voice and spread it, it meant nothing. To him, this was revolutionary.

He pulled out a small booklet and handed it to Ming Hongchen. "This is why my grandfather and I spent years refining a new meditation method. Seniors Ming and Xu, as Titled Douluo, please help me refine it further."
They opened it—and their pupils contracted instantly.
"A meditation method involving all meridians…" They had never seen or even heard of such a thing.
Yang Yunhai explained: "Compared to the current common method, this one accelerates cultivation and recovery, and even helps unblock meridians. Even ordinary people without awakened martial souls can practice it. If mastered before age 6, it might even slightly increase innate soul power."

"Ha, as the dean of the academy, how could I forget the children?" Dugu Bo replied casually. But in truth, he thought, 'If my grandson-in-law weren't the Child of Nature, I'd never share this.'
Soon after, Ming Hongchen and Xu Fengya tried the meditation method in the carriage itself, while Yang Yunhai and Dugu Yan also practiced quietly.
Meanwhile, in his spiritual sea, Yao Ling sighed with relief. 'Good thing the Respected One has already found a solution for soul ring scarcity. Otherwise, releasing this method would wound the soul beast race again.'
Days later, they arrived at the edge of the Poison Miasma Zone in Sunset Forest.
"What a powerful miasma," Ming Hongchen exclaimed. "I never imagined such a place existed."
"Let's go in," Dugu Bo nodded, handing them each a pill. "If the poison grows unbearable, hold this in your mouth."
"Understood." The couple took the pills respectfully.
With that, Dugu Bo led the way into the forest's depths.
