"Tell me, System, what are the advantages of this new energy?" Ethan asked after thinking for a moment.

The next morning, Ethan put on his blue shorts and white shirt.
He grabbed his blade and headed to the Academy. After wandering around for a while, he eventually found Mia.
"Good morning, Mia," Ethan said cheerfully, as usual.
"Why did you come to the Academy? There are no lessons today."
"Why not?"
"Because tomorrow is the reception for the new students—including you. So no lessons today," Mia explained as she walked away.
"Fine. Then let's explore the city today," Ethan said, spending the rest of the day eating and strolling around.
That night, he slept in his room, and in the morning returned to the Academy. He waited in the yard until Mia spotted him.
"Good morning, Mia," Ethan greeted with a smile.
Mia turned without a word and walked ahead, with Ethan following behind. They eventually reached the Academy's main square.
At the center stood a platform where the Dean of the Academy was addressing the crowd.
"Today, new students join us. They will stay here until they complete their studies," the Dean announced in a formal tone.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Before he could finish, the sound of mocking applause echoed through the square.
"That's a nice speech, Lewis. But unfortunately, neither you nor these students will survive long enough to finish their studies,"
a voice said from the crowd.
Carl stepped forward.
"What are you doing, Carl?!" the Dean demanded angrily.
"Carl? Oh, right… I forgot to remove the invisibility," Carl sneered as he peeled off his false face.
Once revealed, the face of a middle-aged man appeared. His hair was blue, and his build was strong.
"Lucas?! You died four years ago!" the Dean exclaimed in shock.
"That's what you thought," Lucas replied coldly as he walked toward Ethan.
"Hey, kid. I'll let you live, so don't stick your nose in things that don't concern you," Lucas warned.
Ethan's expression shifted from casual to icy.
"Well, I don't usually meddle in other people's problems… but that doesn't mean I'm afraid of you, old man."
Lucas narrowed his eyes.
"Fine, boy. Go your way."
Ethan wasn't a saint—he no longer cared about the lives or deaths of strangers.
Perhaps when he had first arrived in this world, he might have tried to help.
But now, after experiencing killing intent and the cruelty of reality, he didn't care anymore.
He turned and walked toward the Academy gates with steady, confident steps, ignoring the shocked gazes of everyone around him.
But halfway through, he suddenly stopped. A devilish smile spread across his face.
Because he had just heard a sound he loved—the voice of a mission.

"That's exactly what I needed," Ethan whispered with a grin.
