"Mummy!" She called.
Her mum who just came back from work faced her. They both smiled and her mummy rushed to carry her.
"How's my little princess doing?" Her mum asked.
"I'm finee" She replied.
"Where's daddy?" Ariel asked and her mum dropped her down slowly.
"He's still at work. Let me prepare dinner" She said and wanted to leave but Ariel pulled her back.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing" She replied with a smile.
"That's a lie. When I asked of daddy, you dropped me down. It was like your mood changed" Ariel said.
"Your dad has a heart issue. He should be resting. He shouldn't over work himself but he keeps doing that even after I begged him." Her mum said before going back to the kitchen.
Ariel sighed before going to her room.
LATER THAT NIGHT ~~
Ariel was playing video games in the sitting room while her dad was at the dining working on his computer.
"No!!!!" Ariel screamed when she lost the game.
Her dad gasped. Her scream frightened him which led to a stroke.
Ariel was still playing games when she held a loud thud at the dining.
She faced there immediately and gasped.
"Daddy!!!" She yelled and ran to him.
Her mum rushed down the stairs and her eyes widened when she saw the man on the ground.
"What happened?"
"I don't know but after I screamed, I heard a thud" She said and received a slap on the face which sent her down to the ground.
"Even after what I told you, you still screamed. Do you want to kill him for me?!!" Her mum yelled and her eyes teared up.

Conrad was reading one of the novels he took from Ariel's room the day she treated his injury.
Logan was playing video games on his phone.
They heard a knock on the door and they turned their gaze towards the door.
"Who's that?" Logan asked.
"Ashley"
"Come in" Logan said and she pushed the door open.
"What is it?" Logan asked.
"Ariel isn't moving. Her eyes are opened but she isn't moving. I've been trying to wake her but she's not waking up. I'm scared" She said and Conrad dropped the book rushing out of the room.
Ashley and Logan went after him. Ashley opened the door and he rushed in sitting on the bed beside Ariel.
Tears were rolling down her opened eyes.
"Ariel" He called but got no reply.
"Love" He called and her head turned to him but she wasn't awake.
"Love. Wake up" He said and she closed her eyes.
She opened them again and sat up wiping the tears on her face.
"Are you okay?" He asked and she nodded slowly.
"Why did you call her love?" Ashley asked.
"That's her middle name" He said and used his thumb to wipe a tear drop on her eye lid.
"Go and have a shower then come back and sleep" He said and she nodded.
She stood and tied the blanket well around her body before going into the restroom.
"What happened to her?" Ashley asked.
"From the look of things, she fell into a trance" Logan said.
"Ohh"
"Take care of her." Conrad said and stood from the bed before walking out of the room.
Logan sat on the bed and let out a sigh.
"You can go now, I'd take care of Ariel" She said and he looked at her.
She was still putting on the towel and he chuckled.
"Pervert" She said and hit his head.
He stood coming closer. She gulped staring into his eyes.
"Take care of yourself Ashley" He said seriously and left the room.
Ashley breathe out before going to the closet. She brought out a night gown and put it on. She wore her robe and sat on the bed.
She took a photo frame on her bed and stared at the man beside her and her mum.
She dropped the photo frame with a sigh.
The door opened and Ariel walked out wearing her nightgown and her robe.
"Ariel" Ashley called and walked to her hugging her. Ariel reciprocated the hug with a small smile. She broke the hug and Ashley held her face.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes. All thanks to Conrad" She said with a smile.
"I'm glad you're fine" Ashley said.
"Can we sleep together? I don't wanna stay alone on my bed" Ariel asked and Ashley smiled.
"You don't have to ask" Ashley said and muttered close. The door closed and they both laid on the bed using the duvet to cover themselves.
Ariel switched on the two ACs before cuddling each other.
"Thank you' Ariel said and closed her eyes.
Ashley smiled staring at her face before closing her eyes.
"Love" Ariel heard the name in her head and she opened her eyes.
'How did he know my middle name is love?' she thought.
★» MONDAY MORNING: GARDEN »★
Ariel was sitting on a bench reading one of her novels when she realized something.
One of her novels was actually missing.
"Where did I keep that book?" She asked herself out loud checking her collection of books on the bench.
Ashley was having a class this morning while she wasn't.
She continued reading her book. She felt a presence in the garden and she looked around. She saw Conrad coming into the garden and she bit her lips before facing her book.
Conrad sat beside her on the bench and she bit her lips again.
"How did you know my middle name is Love?" She asked looking up at him.
"I know everything about you." He said and she blinked.
"That's a lie" She said and he faced the flowers.
"Your favourite flower is a rose. You love cheeseburger but hate cheese. You love green apples and hate red apples. You are blunt. Your name is Ariel Love Humphrey Chen" He said and her mouth opened.
"You also have a mole on the right side of your waist. And then one above your belly button" he said and her eyes widened.
"Should I keep talking?" he asked.
"No. Stop" She said facing her book.
Her cheeks turning a bright shade of pink.
'How does he know?' She thought before focusing on the book
"What are you reading?" He asked and she looked up at him.
"Thé Fàted Lunã" She said and he nodded.
"I love Ava. She's cute and fearless" She said.
"Yes she is. But then I want to ask a question" He said.
"What?"
"Do you believe these creatures exist?" He asked.
"Yes I do. And I really wanna see them" She said with a smile.
"Really?"
"Yes"
"Do you wanna see them now?" He asked and she blinked.
