Ariel carried her tray of food and sat down on the desk with Ashley.
She turned sharply and she frowned when she saw no one.
"What happened?" Ashley asked.
"Was someone behind me before?" Ariel asked instead.
"No. Why?" Ashley said and asked.
Ariel looked back but saw no one. Only the people who were seated having lunch. She faced front and let out a sigh.
"I feel like am being watched or should I say being followed." Ariel said and stuffed a chicken nugget into her mouth.
"What's the cause?"
"Ion know. All I know is that....." She couldn't complete what she was saying when two guys came and took her food.
She stood and held one back.
"Where the heck are you going with my food"
"You're not allowed to eat. You exchanged words with Miss Alicia, you refused to move out of the way when the girls were passing and then you challenged them in the class by raising your hand to answer a question." The guy said and she let out a scoff.
"Let go of my food" She said..
"Tell that to Miss Andrea" He said and pulled out of her grip walking back to the girls table. He thrashed the food and went back to his seat.
Ariel looked at the girls who had a smirk on their face.
She smiled at them before sitting back down on her chair.
"Take mine" Ashley said.
"No thanks. I'm already full" She muttered and brought out her novel and continued reading.
She felt the shadow behind her again and she turned but she saw no one.
"I hate this" She muttered and stood up leaving the cafeteria.
Logan and Conrad's gaze were on Ariel till she left.

She closed the door and sighed going to sit on her bed.
"Who the hell is following me?" She asked and sighed.
Her phone rang and she pulled the phone from her back pocket. She smiled slightly when she saw 'Mummy' on the screen. She swiped green and answered the call.
~ "Ariel. How are you?"
~ "I'm okay. What about you?"
~ "I'm fine. How's school?"
~ "School is complicated"
~ "Tell me about it."
~ "Well, there are 3 girls, the richest daughters in Australia. Apparently, they have rules in the school. No one is allowed to raise their hands to answer a question when one of them wants to answer a question. Whenever they're walking through the hall, no one is allowed to stand in their way. They all should make enough gap for them to pass. And then today, they took my food because I talked back to one of them. It's so stupid."
~ "They're the daughters of richest man in Australia?."
~ "Yes"
~ "Just ignore them dear. Don't let them make staying in that school hard for you"
~ "Okay mum"
~ "Please keep me posted about everything that's happening to you. If there's trouble there, let me know so I'd take you out of the school"
~ "I will. Thanks a lot"
~ "Your welcome. Have fun and make new friends. Interact with cute boys"
~ "Mum" Ariel said with a smile making Taylor laugh.
~ "Just kidding. I'm off now, I have to get back to work"
~ "Alright, bye mum"
~ "Bye" Taylor said and cut the call.
Ariel smiled feeling a little relieved. She took her novel and continued her reading. She heard a knock on the door and she looked at the door.
"Who is it?" She asked but got no response.
She heard the knock again and she closed the book getting a pepper spray.
"I said, who is it?" She asked again but got no reply. She heard the knocking again and she gulped.
She took slow strides towards the door and held the door knob tightening her grip on the pepper spray. She opened the door and immediately sprayed the pepper spray on the person.
"Damnn!!" Logan groaned covering his eyes.
"The hell with you and scaring me?!!" Ariel yelled and he blinked.
"My eyes." He said closing his eyes tightly.
She locked the door and pocketed the room key before going to him.
She rolled her eyes and held his arm pulling him with her as they headed to the infirmary.
"Your hands are soft."
"I will let go of you this instinct if you utter one more word." She said and he kept mute.
"Good." She said and she saw the girls heading their way. She moved out of the way but Alicia stopped in front of her.
"Why the hell are you holding him?"
"I accidentally sprayed pepper spray in his eyes." She said and Alicia looked at Logan's closed eyes.
"And why would you do that?"
"What part of accidental didn't you hear?!" Ariel snapped.
"I'll take him, you can leave" Alicia said and Logan removed his grip from Ariel's hand holding her hand.
"She's taking me there, not you" He said and pulled Ariel with him.
"Do you even know where you're going?"
"You can as well guide me" He said and she scoffed.
They eventually got to the infirmary and the nurse attended to him.
After a while, they left the infirmary together.
"How are your eyes?"
"Much better now" He said with a smile.
"Why would you even keep quiet when I asked who was there?" She asked with a frown.
"I wanted to prank you" He said with a small smile.
"And you eventually got hurt"
"It doesn't matter, my eyes are okay now" He said and she scoffed.
She looked forward and saw Conrad at his locker arranging his books. He turned to her and she blinked. There was something about his eyes that was so fascinating, she couldn't take her eyes off his till she passed him by.
Conrad stared at Logan's retreating figure before facing his locker.
The bell rang for break over and everyone began going to their respective classes.
Ashley came over and took Ariel with her heading to their lockers.
"There's a problem" Ashley said and Ariel frowned.
