The flames erupted violently, surging as Jonathan raised his sword and released the purest power of light, forming a completely black wing that was visible to everyone. As he looked at these enemies, he showed no concern for their strength, having already increased his own power to levels few could even imagine.
"Interesting…" Nigra, the Demon General with a woman's body and a man's voice, gazed at Jonathan's power with gleaming eyes.
"Are these terrifying flames your power? They're truly troublesome, but as long as our healing rituals work properly, we'll win if we eliminate you within ten minutes."
Lethis, the Demon General who appeared to possess certain ice-related abilities, stepped forward.
"Haaaa!"
As he exhaled, a white mist began pouring from his mouth, only to be immediately evaporated by Jonathan's flames.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
The ground seemed to freeze, but the intense heat only produced an endless cloud of steam that completely engulfed the surrounding area.
"Are you an idiot or just an ordinary Demon General…?" Jonathan shook his head at the sight. Trying to unleash ice in this inferno was an utterly ridiculous idea.
"I just wanted to give it a try, but I'm still impressed," Lethis said with a smile.
"You! You're dying first!" Jonathan pointed at Souler, the Demon General who seemed to be the most troublesome of them all.
Onibi!
Boom!
The first attack was directed at Lethis, who stood at the front. He felt a slight tingling sensation before finally noticing the wound Jonathan had inflicted with that sword strike.
"I'll kill you!"
Lethis raised his hands and summoned several puppets resembling polar bears.
At the same time, Nigra raised her hands and released her Spiritual Energy without restraint.
"Shadow monsters?" Jonathan immediately sensed his enemy's power and prepared to launch his attack.
"Do you think we've killed so many humans in this place for no reason? Souler collects the souls, I control the bodies, and Lethis creates the monsters."
"I can do that too…"
Jonathan used his first-stage Fusion ability to eliminate all the puppets his enemies had summoned.
Boom!
With a single swing of his sword, the enemy puppets disintegrated, turning to ashes.
The golden flames surged like a colossal ocean wave, erasing everything in their path like the roar of a bloodthirsty monster.
But Jonathan didn't stay where he was. He stepped forward and leaped onto one of the polar bear-like monsters, swinging his sword with his Onibi technique and splitting his enemy in half.
Lethis glared at Jonathan furiously. After all, he had just destroyed his precious creations. However, there was no way they could match Jonathan's speed.
Jonathan surged forward at tremendous speed, charging straight at Souler. He wielded his sword with elegance and prepared to eliminate his first enemy.
But just as his attack was about to land, several different abilities were used to deflect it, allowing his opponent to narrowly escape.
Boom!
Souler seized the opportunity to grab Jonathan's sword-wielding hand. However, the pain caused by coming into contact with the flames was so intense that his hand began to disintegrate.
Jonathan crouched to the level of Souler's waist, released his sword, and, within seconds, slammed both clenched fists into his enemy's chest. His opponent's body cracked, and he was sent flying dozens of meters away.
This gave the enemy an opportunity to attack. Nigra launched several black needles made of Cursed Energy toward Jonathan's arm. They pierced his reinforced skin, but he managed to evade the remaining attacks with his incredible speed.
"Are you willing to get yourself injured just to kill him first?" Nigra advanced a few steps and glared furiously at Jonathan.
"Hahaha! These are just a few scratches. This wound doesn't even qualify as an exchange of damage when I destroyed half your companion's body," Jonathan said as his divine energy expelled the needles that had pierced his arm.
Before Nigra could move, Jonathan appeared beside her and swung his sword toward her wrist.
Boom!
The flames incinerated not only her wrist but her entire arm, making her scream in agony from the attack.
The Demon General's eyes widened.
But Lethis didn't remain still. He moved his body and kicked Jonathan in the head while simultaneously dodging the attack aimed at him by slightly tilting his body.
Meanwhile, Nigra, who had lost her entire arm, healed the burned parts of her body, covered her arm in pure Cursed Energy, and attacked Jonathan.
Boom!
Jonathan staggered backward from the impact but managed to stabilize himself after retreating several dozen meters. Unexpectedly, Nigra was stronger than he had anticipated, and the consequences were severe: he had taken a high-risk hit.
Boom!
The flames erupted once more, and Jonathan severed one of his enemy's arms, inflicting a serious wound and forcing the Demon General to retreat. But the worst part was that two of them possessed powerful regenerative abilities, making it extremely difficult for him to inflict lasting damage.
"I don't care!"
Using his maximum speed, Jonathan charged toward Nigra and grabbed her left arm. Then he murmured, "Perfect Red King, Purification!"
As Jonathan activated this ability, numerous pillars of light appeared, surrounding the entire area and preventing any of his enemies from escaping. The purpose was to trap them until they were sufficiently weakened for him to use his ultimate technique and eliminate them, even if doing so meant completely annihilating everything within the same area.
