Chapter 116 - Chapter 116: Tsunade’s Decision, Hinata’s New Technique

"Delegating authority isn't the problem," Naruto said, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "As long as the power of supervision stays with you, Grandma Tsunade. If the Anbu finds anyone abusing their position, just hold them accountable and replace them with someone else."

He paused, his blue eyes bright with conviction. "And about forming that advisory group it's a good thing. They'd only give you suggestions, not actual authority. You'd still make all the final decisions yourself. No one can override the Hokage's judgment."

Naruto smiled, leaning forward eagerly. "One person can't think of everything, right? But if you have a group of smart people helping you brainstorm, you'll be able to cover way more ground. That way, the village's administration would run smoother, and you'd finally have more time to relax!"

Tsunade's golden eyes lit up more and more with every word. To her, this wasn't just advice it sounded like the perfect excuse to finally slack off a little. Well… maybe "relieve her burden" was the better phrase.

Naruto's words opened up a new perspective for her. Authority could indeed be distributed but not fragmented. The Hokage must remain the singular center of power.

She smiled, ruffling Naruto's messy hair. This kid… You really can't treat him like a child anymore.

Talking politics with him turned out to be the smartest decision she'd made all day.

The old advisors may have stepped down with the Third, but their influence and men still linger. I'll have to reclaim their authority myself. It's time to start reforming the administrative system of the Leaf…

Step by step. Still, I'm going to need more capable hands to make this happen.

It wasn't that Konoha lacked ninja it was that Tsunade lacked trustworthy ones.

Her gaze drifted to Naruto again. With Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata's current strength, they hardly need supervision anymore.

"Naruto!" Tsunade suddenly said, an idea forming in her mind.

"Huh? What's up, Grandma Tsunade?" he asked curiously.

"Starting today, Team 7 is officially disbanded!" she declared.

"Wha what?!" Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and Hyuga Hinata," Tsunade continued with authority, "from this moment on, you three are reassigned as my personal Hokage Guard. You'll operate directly under me. Kakashi's team leader position will be dissolved he'll receive new orders soon."

Naruto blinked, stunned. "We're… your personal guards? But we're still genin!" He scratched his head sheepishly, cheeks faintly red. "Are you sure that's okay?"

Tsunade folded her arms. "Why not? You three barely take missions these days. You're all focused on training, aren't you?"

Naruto nodded honestly. Hinata and Sasuke were both at Mount Myoboku, mastering Sage Mode. He was about to head back there himself to train his Wood Release. Regular missions really were a waste of time now.

They didn't need more ryo or basic experience. They needed to grow stronger.

And elite ninja should be given elite-level missions.

A few days later, Naruto returned to Mount Myoboku to continue his training. The natural energy there was far denser, helping him refine both Sage Mode and his new Wood Release techniques more efficiently.

Meanwhile, Kakashi was stunned when he received his reassignment notice. He hadn't even led Team 7 for a full year before being replaced but rather than being demoted, he found himself promoted.

Tsunade had appointed him as one of her closest aides, tasking him with reclaiming the administrative power once held by the old advisors.

Under the surface of Konoha's newfound peace, subtle currents of political struggle stirred.

The Third Hokage might have taken his old comrades into retirement, but those who'd spent a lifetime as Hokage advisors weren't ready to give up power so easily.

They resisted, of course. But with Hiruzen now backing Tsunade fully, and Kakashi lending his sharp mind and experience, the tide quickly turned. Koharu and Homura were soon stripped of their authority and personnel, leaving them powerless.

The only one who remained a true obstacle was Danzo.

His influence, grown unchecked under the Third's leniency, had swollen to dangerous levels.

But Tsunade wasn't worried. Her position was secure. She could afford to take her time slowly boiling the frog, stripping away Danzo's power piece by piece until he had nothing left.

Unless he chose to lash out first, Tsunade had no intention of starting an internal war that would only drain Konoha's strength.

When Hiruzen heard of Danzo's resistance, he merely sighed heavily. He didn't intervene.

Let Danzo be her whetstone, he thought.

His days of fighting were long over. Now he spent his time practicing calligraphy, fishing, and teaching little Konohamaru. With no more burdens on his shoulders, he ate well, slept better, and even looked younger.

Under Tsunade's leadership, Konoha began to flourish again.

Meanwhile, at Mount Myoboku, training was going smoothly.

Hinata had mastered Sage Mode ahead of Sasuke and was now developing new, more devastating attack techniques.

She'd already perfected every secret Hyuga family art, even creating her own spatial technique the Eight Trigrams Shift. Within the circle of her Byakugan's vision, she could instantly relocate her attacks or herself, making her movements completely unpredictable.

Even long-range ninjutsu could be deflected or displaced within her domain. It was a true offense-defense fusion technique.

But Hinata still had one critical weakness something she realized during her battle with Shukaku.

Her attacks were devastating against human-sized opponents, but nearly useless against massive creatures. A piercing strike that could kill a man instantly was barely a sting to a tailed beast.

It was the same flaw that once limited the Fourth Hokage techniques designed to kill humans weren't enough against monsters.

So, guided by Naruto's suggestions, Hinata began developing a large-scale offensive jutsu.

She focused her immense chakra reserves and the raw physical boost granted by Sage Mode, channeling her energy into her fists.

She struck forward compressing air in front of her and then unleashed the chakra in a volcanic burst, creating a massive shockwave that roared through the battlefield.

A colossal chakra fist of pure force erupted outward, detonating like a cannon blast.

It was similar to Might Guy's Morning Peacock technique, but far more powerful because Hinata's attack fused both taijutsu and chakra explosion in perfect harmony.

Even Naruto hadn't expected how terrifying the technique would become when combined with her Byakugan. With its 360-degree vision, she could analyze every flaw, every incoming attack, and adjust in real time.

Her chakra fists moved with the precision of a surgeon and the power of a natural disaster each strike flowing into the next, offense and defense blending seamlessly into one unstoppable rhythm.

Within the dance of her blows, Hinata Hyuga had become untouchable.
