Ryan hangs up. He's spent the last two days trying to call the Baroness to extend the time, but Her Ladyship hasn't taken his calls.
He's getting more and more frustrated.
Suddenly, his phone vibrates. He looks at it and sees a message from his sleeping partner, Jessica Kwan.
The text reads:
I have a good scoop involving the Montroses and Monforts. Let's meet and see if we can collaborate. Eight pm. The usual place.

Ryan smiles slightly. Finally, something good. And that J. Kwan… I'll play with her again.
Ryan licks his lower lip.
He looks at his watch and notices that it's still eight in the morning. He has twelve more hours to look forward to.
