Chapter 13 - Visit with a twist

We had finally reached that house. My legs were sore from sitting too much. 'Why did this house have to be so far?' I would love to not come but sadly, I had too.

I got off the car and immediately stretched my arms and legs. Freedom from that stuffy car felt good. I looked at the house. It was a decent house with a decent front yard. If I manage leave that house I would definitely love to live here, at this point, I want to be granny old with cats in my house. A cozy blanket, some tea and most definitely no work; a living dream, how great would that be?

I can't wait to leave college and I most definitely don't want to get married. My A-sexual ass could never. I looked at Yuki and see was being lazy again. Mom and Dad started walking first as dad signaled us to follow behind and we did. Now that I think about it. Me and Yuki have been able to impersonate the actual Hina and Ayame pretty well. Despite the fact that our personality's kind of matched, some differences were huge enough for us to struggle. Hina most definetly was cheerful and energetic and I am not that mature but given by it. It seems l am more mature than her and a lot more tired vibes. I am still sleep derived but I pushed that aside like some disgusting food and somehow was energetic.

As for Ayame, she was 100 percent a match maker. It seems that Hina runs from romantic relationships and Ayame was trying get her sister to find a lover which is the complete opposite of Yuki who would glare at any guy that would dare approach me or is close to me in a friendship. The ironic-ness in this is crazy.

After some time, I don't even know how the fuck I ended up here in an adult talk which was boring as fuck. I could Yuki getting so bored that she was playing the Dino game. Mom had turned her gaze to us.

"Sweetie, can you both go to the guest room for a while? We need to talk about a certain deal with our friend"

I nodded in response as she pointed to the guest room which was somewhere at the end of the hall. What kind of living room was close to the corridor? This house had it.

I followed the order or request, I don't know myself. Yuki followed behind me and that's how we ended up chilling in the guest room.

I again opened my phone and went to the article. I have no idea why Yuki decided to play an offline game when there's the Wi-Fi working.

Ah, yes. The terrorism group; I wanted to know how many places have been blasted by now.

I typed one sentence, 'Countries that have been blasted by the terrorism group'. One sentence and the answer turned out to be 4 countries in 6 months. What are these bitches doing?! It's again crowed places, same type of victims and no idea where they have gotten such information and TNT. Haa… I would love to not get involved in such things.

I quickly let the website and got back to the novel I was reading. 'Curiosity' I got traumatized due to that. I had honestly thought it was a chaotic not traumatizing book, I regretted such thoughts.

The book was about a murder was going around in certain places and about the books of the protagonist who was a well-known author that wrote murder mystery books.

As not expected but expected as well, the murders that occurred were the in real life versions of the murder that happened in the books of the Author.

The killings were brutal; imagine getting forced to eat your own skin? Or get chopped off into tiny pieces only to get eaten by some animal?

Disgusting, how did the author even think of this? The author of 'Curiosity' are you ok? Like seriously, I gagged reading the murder scenes. They had also written some other book, 3 including 'Curiosity'.

'The angelic ones',

'Corruption of the innocents'

I haven't read 'The angelic ones' but at this point, I give up on the hope that as the 'Corruption of the innocents' and 'Curiosity' is already making me disgusted and feel pity for the protagonist.

I shook my head in absolute disbelief. What kind of weird story did I read?
