Chapter 79 - DSPH Chapter 80: Infinity Castle

"Is Akaza crazy?"

That was Aoki's first thought.

Akaza couldn't not know he had killed Doma.

Even if Akaza hated Doma, he knew Doma's strength.

Attacking him was suicide.

But Aoki quickly remembered the eyeball from before and realized something.

Akaza's eyes were full of killing intent. He punched at Aoki's face.

Thud!

Aoki caught Akaza's fist. He was about to counterattack when the solid ground disappeared. He was falling into a strange city.

"Infinity Castle, I knew it!"

Aoki quickly understood the situation.

Nakime must have been looking for him. He was at least one of her targets.

Akaza was bait. Infinity Castle was the battlefield.

This was probably another trap Muzan had set for him.

Aoki's eyes flickered. He let himself fall into Infinity Castle.

Thud!

Aoki landed on a platform. He looked up.

Buildings crisscrossed, forming a strange city.

Infinity Castle was a separate dimension.

Space Traverse could only reach places he could see. He couldn't leave Infinity Castle with Space Traverse.

But Aoki felt the space mark in his mind. He looked around calmly.

He would have been in danger if he had been trapped before killing Doma.

But now...

Whoosh!

A sharp sound came from behind.

Aoki turned sharply and punched.

Thud!

Their fists collided, and a shockwave exploded.

Aoki didn't move. Akaza flew away, landing and looking serious.

The traitor had killed Doma. He must have gotten much stronger.

But the traitor's power was beyond his expectations.

Whoosh!

The air was cut. A whip-like shadow fell from the sky.

Aoki vanished.

Crack crack crack!

The building he had been standing on split in two.

Aoki turned.

A pale young man with plum-red eyes walked out.

His arms had turned into long, barbed whips.

"Muzan!" Aoki said calmly.

Muzan had gone to so much trouble. He had to be here.

He had expected to face Muzan when he entered Infinity Castle.

"Traitor, how will you escape this time?" Muzan said coldly, his eyes full of killing intent.

A pot suddenly appeared on the left. A grotesque demon crawled out, its eyes were mouths, and its mouths had eyeballs. The characters "Upper Moon" and "Five" were carved in its eyes. It opened its mouths, laughing eerily.

On the right, a small demon with curved horns and five drums with the character "Hate" on its back walked out slowly. The characters "Upper Moon" and "Four" were carved in its eyes.

Muzan, full of killing intent, stood in front. Akaza watched him like a wolf from behind.

"Wait, where are the other two?"

Aoki sensed something and looked down.

There was a platform below. A woman holding a biwa sat on the platform, her long black hair spread out. The single eye on her face was striking.

A man in a purple-black kimono with long red sideburns and a high ponytail stood next to her. He had six eyes on his face. The middle two had "Upper Moon" and "One" carved in them.

The new Upper Moon Six, Nakime!

And the strongest demon after Muzan, Upper Moon One, Kokushibo.

Okay, everyone was here.

Was Muzan protecting Nakime?

He was being thorough.

Too thorough for Muzan.

Aoki looked around. "Is this all the Upper Moons? I'm the first opponent to make the Demon King and the Upper Moons work together?"

"Rat, this game ends here!"

Muzan's face twisted. He swung his arm, and the barbed whips lashed out at Aoki.

The speed and power were terrifying. No wonder Yoriichi had felt a chill down his spine.

Rumble!

A giant wooden lizard appeared on the right.

Countless sharp-toothed fish shot from the pot on the left, flying towards Aoki like a river. The fish's eyes were full of bloodlust.

Akaza didn't attack. He watched Aoki intently, like a wolf ready to pounce.

Aoki had seen their attacks in the Transparent World.

But these attacks were terrifying. He couldn't block them.

He didn't need to.

Aoki vanished from the circle of demons and appeared above Nakime.

Clang!

Nakime plucked her biwa. A wooden board appeared, blocking them.

Rumble!

Aoki punched. The board shattered.

But instead of Nakime's head, he saw a bizarre sword with eyeballs on the blade, hilt, and guard.

"First Form, Dark Moon, Evening Palace!"

The bizarre sword slashed, leaving many irregular crescent blades.

Aoki didn't dodge. He punched.

"Aoki Style, Judgment!"

Clang!

Kokushibo stepped back. Aoki didn't move. There was a deep cut on his fist, but it healed quickly.

Aoki flashed and appeared on the other side of Nakime.

Kokushibo's sword grew more blades, slashing down. "Eighth Form, Moon Dragon Ringtail!"

A huge slash surrounded by crescent blades engulfed Aoki.

"That attack power, that range. He really is Upper Moon One!"

Aoki couldn't let that attack hit him. He punched down.

Bang!

The slash shattered, but his fist was cut badly.

Then, the building below him rose. Whips lashed down from above.

The other demons attacked too.

Aoki vanished, appearing dozens of meters away.

"So many people attacking me? Why not fight me one-on-one?

Kokushibo, what happened to your swordsman's honor?

Muzan, you call yourself invincible? Attacking me with your minions? Aren't you ashamed?"

No one answered his taunts.

Whoosh!

Two barbed whips lashed out, blocking his escape.

Aoki vanished again.

Muzan said coldly, "Rat, run all you want. The moment your stamina runs out, you'll die! Your fate was sealed when you entered Infinity Castle!"

"Good plan," Aoki said.

Space Traverse used a lot of energy.

His stamina and mental strength had increased since he learned it, but he couldn't use it forever.

At this rate, he wouldn't last a day.

But that was only if they could trap him here.

Aoki looked at Nakime and vanished again.
