Things moved forward. By now, about fifty teachers were taking on the hell flames, but the flames kept multiplying. Most of them emerged from the ground, and more kept coming. The numbers weren't going down.
Velqira tightened her fists, watching as the teachers destroyed the cores, but they weren't able to keep up. These were not ordinary flames. They weren't just hell flames, they had arms and legs, moving like living beings, spreading destruction wherever they landed.
Then the flames changed their tactic. They stopped rushing straight at the teachers and slammed into the ground, detonating with massive explosions. If they got too close, the teachers could destroy the cores. By exploding on impact, they caught some teachers in the blast.
Velqira increased her aura. "I won't just stand here!" she shouted as she charged forward.
"Come back! There's no need! Wait here!" Zari called out.
