Knowing that she liked the song, he smiled with relief, his eyes squinting into crescents.
"I am glad that you like it!"
"What's the name of the song?" she asked curiously, looking into his eyes as she pondered thoughtfully.
Upon hearing that question, he didn't evade her but answered truthfully, "It is called My Light, and it's a song for you," hoping that his truthfulness wouldn't make things awkward for her.
Sonia, on the other hand didn't feel like that at all. After sorting out her thoughts as she listened to the song, she knew what she wanted and how she wanted to move from now on.
In fact, upon hearing that it was a song for her, the smile on her face became even more genuine.
"It's really a song for me?"
He nodded firmly, a shy smile on his face. "Yes. At times I am not good at expressing my feelings and thoughts. So, I thought about writing a song and express how I feel. I hope that you don't mind."
