"I knew it!"
Gale said with a heavy expression, "Freya and the others must have fallen as well."
Alexstrasza nodded, "My last conscious memory was Loken having the Faceless Ones inject Shadow Power into us."
Gale: "It's too late to rescue Freya and the others now. We can only advance cautiously, pressing deeper into Ulduar."
He rolled his eyes, took out an arcane gem, and cast a spell on Alexstrasza, transforming her back into her corrupted state. However, she was covered in severe lightning scars, with blood continuously flowing from the wounds.
If she hadn't known she wasn't actually injured, Alexstrasza would have been fooled by this brilliant illusion.
"This!"
Alexstrasza looked at Gale, puzzled, "What are you trying to do?"
Gale took out the Soul Gem and handed it to Alexstrasza.
"Soon, you'll pretend to escape back into Ulduar, and try to get close to Loken and the other three Titan Guardians. I will lead the Alliance Army in to draw their attention. Then you will activate the gem's power to assault their souls, and I will take the opportunity to subdue them."
Alexstrasza looked at the small Soul Gem, "Will it work?"
"Trust me!" Gale said sincerely, "Even if it doesn't work, I can wound them, buying myself time to purify Freya and the other two."
Alexstrasza nodded, "Alright, let's do it!"
Her power was granted by Freya, and she was willing to take any risk if it meant saving Freya.
The Red Dragons looked at Alexstrasza with worry, but dared not try to dissuade her. Matters decided by Alexstrasza and Gale were not for them to comment on.
After some discussion, Alexstrasza immediately let out a mournful cry, tumbled in the air, and fell near the teleporter. She struggled to her feet, quickly activated the teleporter, and "escaped" back into Ulduar.
"Chase her!"
Gale roared, leading the Alliance Army to charge into the teleporter, following her into Ulduar.
He shouted at Alexstrasza's retreating figure, "Traitor, your death day has come!"
Alexstrasza turned her head to see Gale pursuing her and fled even faster.
Gale threw the Miao Miao Hammer with all his might, hitting Alexstrasza directly on the head, knocking her down the stairs. Alexstrasza leaped, flapping her wings to glide over Kologarn's head, "Stop them!"
Kologarn looked at Alexstrasza's miserable state, filled with indignation. If the enemy could beat her like this, how could he possibly be their match?
But his duty was to guard the passage to the interior, and he could not leave his post without Loken's command.
His eyes darted around, and he cast a spell, flying towards the palace on the right, which was where the Steel Dwarves' Steel Council resided. Kologarn hoped the Steel Council would send reinforcements, and the Steel Council indeed did so.
But unfortunately, as soon as the Steel Council's reinforcements exited the doorway, they were struck back by Gale using the eternal spear.
A group of Red Dragons split off, blocking the Steel Dwarves' attack, using their dragon breath to turn the passage into a sea of fire, cutting off the Steel Dwarves' path forward.
Kologarn panicked; how could he possibly fight such a ferocious enemy?
Fortunately, Loken had not abandoned him.
Teams of Faceless Ones poured out from within Ulduar, charging towards the Alliance Army.
The Red Dragons immediately flew into the sky, launching an attack on the Faceless Ones.
Gale also ordered: "Hold your ground and engage in ranged attacks."
Not many of the Alliance Army could directly confront the Faceless Ones, and Gale would not let the already heavily-casualties Alliance Army charge to their deaths. He gave the tide stone to Adal Riverwind, instructing him and Metri, who held the eye of aman'thul, to launch a crossfire attack on the Faceless Ones.
He himself, holding the Miao Miao Hammer in his left hand and the eternal spear in his right, charged towards the Faceless Ones.
The eternal spear's Rainbow Bridge fired repeatedly, each strike piercing a Faceless One's chest.
Mjolnir's lightning struck continuously, each bolt disfiguring a Faceless One.
Behind Kologarn, General Vezax looked at Gale with deep eyes, "Is that him?"
Loken said playfully, "That's right, that's Gale!"
"Although he is indeed very strong and possesses many artifacts, I don't understand why Yogg-Saron is so afraid of him."
General Vezax was also unaware of the reason for Yogg-Saron's fear, but he had to uphold Yogg-Saron's prestige.
"Don't ask about things you shouldn't ask about!"
Loken was inwardly displeased that a defeated subordinate dared to scold him. If it weren't for needing you, why would I be so humble?
His eyes shifted slightly, and he said to General Vezax, "It seems your Faceless One army is no match for him either!"
General Vezax snorted, "It doesn't matter how many he kills; the master can easily create more Faceless Ones."
"But that takes time!" Loken said.
The teleporter reacted again, and a Kaldorei was teleported in. Behind him followed a steel troop.
"Sethonis, you're finally here!"
Sethonis glanced at the battlefield situation and immediately waved his hand. The War Golems quickly ran forward, soon arriving at the front of the Alliance line. They lined up, drew javelins from their backs, aimed, and threw them at the Faceless Ones.
The javelins turned into meteors, riddling the Faceless Ones like sieves. These were Sea Monster Killers specially made for true War Golems, much shorter than normal Sea Monster Killers.
General Vezax frowned instantly, "These machines are your masterpiece?"
Loken shrugged, "Apparently not."
General Vezax didn't believe it but found it difficult to say more. Loken's subordinates had already paid too high a price, and even if war machines were captured, it was inevitable.
However, understanding was one thing; it didn't mean he was prepared to let Loken off the hook.
"Let those three guys go. Only they can stop Gale's advance."
Loken chuckled playfully, "Indeed, it's their turn to appear. However, they are Titan Guardians after all, and their suppression is much stronger than that Red Dragon. So, someone must watch them from nearby."
"Are you talking about me?" General Vezax asked, displeased.
Loken spread his hands, "I still have things to do. If you want those three to regain their will, you don't have to follow."
General Vezax was furious but still chose to yield. He followed behind Freya and the other two, walking towards the battlefield.
Loken glanced at Alexstrasza and also stepped forward, following them. He wanted to take this opportunity to launch a surprise attack on Gale, ideally a one-hit kill, to eliminate the future trouble.
The closer Loken got to the battlefield, the more agitated he felt. He looked at Gale warily, as if he had a premonition.
At this moment, Gale suddenly shot the eternal spear, embedding it in Ulduar's ceiling. The Rainbow Bridge descended from the eternal spear, enveloping the five individuals, rendering them unable to move.
"Now!"
Alexstrasza suddenly activated the Soul Gem, and an infinite surge of soul energy rushed towards the five individuals.
