Gale was speechless. He had intended to save the name Nordrassil for the World Tree he would plant.
Ysera offered an explanation for this. She didn't want to see the Kaldorei divided, and the reason she named this World Tree Nordrassil was to remind the Kaldorei of Mount Hyjal that they were still members of the Kaldorei Empire.
Gale was still displeased, but Ysera then said that when he planted his World Tree, she would bless his World Tree as well.
Only then did Gale drop the matter of the name.
The blessings of the Guardian Dragons required them to expend their power. However, Gale was not worried; in the original history, the Guardian Dragons had poured most of their power into the Demon Soul, yet were still able to bless Nordrassil.
Now, without the Demon Soul, it would be no problem for the Guardian Dragons to bless two World Trees. At least, it would be much better than the situation in the original history.
Illidan Stormrage still couldn't escape his fate of imprisonment, which Gale found amusing.
The Kaldorei of Mount Hyjal gained eternal life from this, yet they repaid their greatest benefactor with 'ingratitude'.
Gale even suspected that this guy might suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. Otherwise, it would be inexplicable why, despite Malfurion, Tyrande, and the Kaldorei treating him this way, he still transformed into a demon to save these people in the original history.
Or perhaps he was naturally rebellious, and then Kil'jaeden insisted on dragging him into the Burning Legion...
After experiencing the feeling of eternal life for a moment, Gale returned to Nordrassil.
He did not resume the construction work of Nordrassil but instead entered the laboratory. Ganil's leaves were constantly losing magic, and a solution had to be found as soon as possible.
Gale first analyzed Ganil's leaves and found that their structure was not significantly different from ordinary oak leaves. However, due to the unique nature of Ganil, the Mother Tree, these leaves could generate a large amount of natural energy, making them excellent materials for natural equipment.
Soon, he found a use for the leaves, which was—
Papermaking!
The paper used by the Kaldorei for daily records was an Arcane creation similar to papyrus. Mages would lay leaves and grass together, then use Arcane to bind them, making them suitable for writing. When crafting magic books, they used magic-patterned cloth, runic cloth, and spirit-woven cloth, hardening them into paper-like sheets.
Under these circumstances, the Kaldorei simply couldn't develop a papermaking industry.
But to use Ganil's leaves, Gale had to try to create real paper.
He first found some ordinary oak leaves and attempted papermaking. In a magical world, papermaking was simple; as long as one knew the principle, many steps could be simplified using magic alone.
A day later, Gale created a spell called Papermaking, which was even easier than creating the Food Creation spell.
He used the Papermaking spell to turn Ganil's leaves into paper and tested it, much to Gale's satisfaction. While its enhancement for other energy sources was not remarkable, its amplification of natural spells could entirely rival the fur of a loa.
Millions of leaves could produce tens of thousands of sheets of paper, enough to create hundreds of legendary natural spellbooks.
Thinking of this, Gale called Nalarex over. "Have you made any progress in natural magic recently?"
Nalarex was somewhat troubled. "Your Majesty, perhaps my talent is limited; without Cenarius's guidance, my progress has not been significant."
Gale smiled. "Don't think of Cenarius as so divine. Malfurion was able to become a Great Druid because he was favored by Azeroth, and it's not an exaggeration to call him a Child of the World."
Nalarex said enviously, "Indeed! Which druid doesn't wish to be favored by Azeroth?"
"No need to rush!" Gale handed him the Ganil paper. "This is paper I made from the leaves of Ganil, the Mother Tree. Perhaps it will be helpful to you and the druids who remained in Nordrassil."
Nalarex took the Ganil paper, felt the process of natural energy generating from it, and his eyes immediately lit up.
"Your Majesty, this paper truly gives me inspiration. If natural energy is generated in the way described here, druids might be able to become part of nature itself, rather than trying every possible way to gain nature's favor."
Gale smiled and said, "I plan to use it to create a druid spellbook. Perhaps you can use it to establish a new school of druidism."
Nalarex paused for a moment, then immediately became fervent.
Cenarius's path of druidism primarily cultivated Balance Druids, who focused more on the balance of nature, so their spell intensity was closely related to nature's favor.
Next, Feral Druids were cultivated. After the War of the Ancients, to enhance the combat capabilities of ordinary druids, Cenarius requested the demigods to grant druids the ability to shapeshift. Ursoc blessed druids to transform into dire bears, Aviana blessed druids to transform into storm crows, Malorne blessed druids to transform into stags, and Aman'sha granted druids the ability to transform into gray panthers.

After the spellbook was completed, Gale raised the eternal spear and infused it with divine life energy. The divine life energy activated all the runes on the book, causing the spellbook to burst with green light, and countless natural energies emerged from it, quickly enveloping all of Nordrassil.
The Kaldorei looked up one after another; such majesty was only present when a divine artifact was born.
Gale handed the spellbook to Nalarex. "Let's call it the Book of the Sage!"
Nalarex solemnly accepted the Book of the Sage. "Your Majesty, I will surely guide the remaining druids well and ensure the new school flourishes."
"I believe in you!" Gale said. "But you must remember, promoting the school is not your ultimate goal. You must be responsible for the entire world. The earth is suffering; you must heal not only living creatures but also this world."
Nalarex paused, then solemnly said, "This will be my lifelong mission."
