Chapter 150 - Chapter 150 Tears of Elune

Purple, blue, and yellow energies streaked across the sky, bombarding the demons. The powerful energies instantly tore apart the demons' bodies, carving three massive furrows into the ground.

The sudden, immense change panicked the demons. The leading Eredar Archmage quickly ordered, "Find the source of the attack, and kill the one who launched it."

The flying demons immediately ascended, following the light beams upstream.

In Suramar, the Kaldorei were also startled by the impressive light beams. They poked their heads out of their rooms and, upon realizing the beams originated from Elisande's Mage Tower, ceased to worry.

"The Grand Magister is using the eye of aman'thul."

"The crisis at the Temple of the Moon should be resolved."

Although their reasoning was sound, the Suramar guards still prevented them from entering the streets.

At the top of the Mage Tower, the three Archmages watched the projected screen, continuously adjusting the positions where the light beams struck.

Elisande was the most anxious, her purple light beam sweeping directly towards the portal.

Prince Farodis followed closely, but if he encountered a large group of demons, he would attack and crush them.

Gale seemed aimless, yet with his powerful micro-control abilities, his light beam constantly changed direction, killing a large number of demons.

Even though Gale knew these demons would revive, in the current situation, he could only use this method to reduce the demon forces.

Elisande frowned and said, "First, destroy the portal. Those demons are not worth worrying about."

Farodis and Gale exchanged a glance, both seeing the helplessness in each other's eyes. Destroying the portal required immense Arcane Energy, and the resulting reaction would be very powerful. Destroying the portal at this moment would allow many demons to escape, and finding them later would be extremely difficult.

Gale nodded to Farodis, "Leave the remaining demons to me."

Farodis then joined him in shifting their light beams towards the portal.

The Eredar Archmage roared, "Strengthen the portal's defenses, and buy time for the assault team."

His idea was good, but once the three light beams shifted to the portal, the immense Arcane Energy directly pierced through the protective shield, striking the portal.

The portal's energy vortex instantly became chaotic, collapsing inward.

The Eredar Archmage cried out in terror, "Retreat from the portal—"

The demons turned and fled, but before they could get far, the portal's energy swelled like a bubble, then exploded with a 'boom'.

The shockwave sent demons flying, then tore them into pieces. Rocks flew up in the Temple of the Moon's plaza, collapsing half of the Temple of the Moon. A giant crater appeared on the ground, surrounded by desolation.

"Phew—"

The three Archmages let out a long breath. Gale casually absorbed Arcane Energy from the eternal holy grail to alleviate the emptiness within him.

"There should be demons attacking Suramar soon; I'll leave them to you two."

With that, Gale took out a pile of teleportation crystals, selecting one to activate.

A portal appeared out of thin air. Gale took out the Greed Hydra and tossed it to Brox, saying, "You use this for now. I'll forge you a suitable weapon later."

Brox caught the spear and swung it a few times, surprised. It was so heavy? This elven Archmage's strength was truly formidable?

"Come with me!"

Gale entered the portal first. Brox took a deep breath and followed. Having experienced the battle of Mount Hyjal, he was very clear about the demons' combat power.

However, he would not fear demons; even if he died on the battlefield, he would die in the midst of a charge.

He quickened his pace, rushing into the portal. When his vision returned, he saw a ground covered in demon corpses. Among the bodies, Gale was moving swiftly, casting spells as he went to finish off the demons lying on the ground.

Gale looked back, "Leave the demons here to you. I need to pursue the fleeing demons."

Brox was about to speak when Gale disappeared. He was a bit frustrated; any warrior could kill these dying demons.

However, he quickly adjusted his mood. Regardless of the demons' state, he would eliminate them.

He cleared out demons along the way, gradually reaching the vicinity of the collapsed Temple of the Moon. After killing another dying demon, he noticed something glinting in the ruins. This piqued his curiosity, and he walked over to find a nearly triangular gem.

"What is this?"

"tears of elune!"

Gale had appeared behind him at some point.

Brox asked, puzzled, "What is that?"

Gale explained, "It is said to be the tears Elune shed, the most mysterious treasure in this world."

Upon hearing this, Brox immediately stepped aside, "Since it belongs to Azeroth, you should keep it!"

Gale's heart swelled with joy. Just as he was about to step forward, he felt a sense of rejection emanating from the tears of elune. Gale instantly became annoyed, saying with dissatisfaction, "Do you dislike me that much, Elune!"

Brox looked at Gale strangely, not understanding what he meant.

Gale said, annoyed, "You keep it for now!"

With that, Gale turned and left.

Brox was even more confused. He thought for a moment, then picked up the tears of elune and quickly caught up with Gale.

He didn't ask Gale the reason, not knowing why this mysterious Archmage gave him such a strong sense of pressure.

Gale brought Brox back to Suramar through the portal. The platform at the top of the Mage Tower was already covered in demon corpses. All the demons who came to search for the source of the attack had died at the hands of Elisande and Prince Farodis.

Seeing Gale return, Prince Farodis quickly inquired about the situation.

"The Temple of the Moon has been destroyed, and the demons there have been cleansed," Gale said, then looked at Tyrande, who had arrived at some unknown time, "High Priestess Tyrande, do you have any new message?"

Tyrande shook her head, "I'm here to say goodbye. What happened in Suramar makes me very uneasy, and I want to seek help from Cenarius."

"I have already notified Cenarius," Gale said. "And I have also notified other allies to jointly deal with this crisis."

Tyrande breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good. This way, I can go to Sin'dorei with peace of mind."

Elisande: "Sin'dorei might be very dangerous. I suggest you contact the other High Priestess of the Temple of the Moon."

Tyrande: "I know, but I still have to go to Sin'dorei. I need to inform the High Priestess so that they can be prepared."

At this moment, Brox suddenly walked over, "Lady Tyrande, thank you for saving me. This is a gem I found at the Temple of the Moon. Gale said it's tears of elune, and I think it would be better if you kept it."

Tyrande accepted the tears of elune with surprise, "This is an artifact of the Temple of the Moon. I didn't expect you to find it."

Gale watched Tyrande receive the tears of elune without any hindrance, feeling inexplicably disgruntled. Elune, do you have to be so absolute?
