*Chapter 7 :Triumph and New Beginnings*
Damon emerged from the dungeon, feeling a sense of accomplishment and pride. He had defeated the flame giant and gained valuable experience and skills. As he stepped out into the bright sunlight, he took a deep breath, feeling the cool breeze on his face.
After exchanging the flame giant's core for a handsome sum of gold, Damon decided to visit a blacksmith to forge a new set of armor using the rare metal he had acquired. The blacksmith, a master craftsman with a passion for innovation, examined the metal and nodded in approval.
"This is exceptional material. I'll forge it into a set of armor that will serve you well in raids," the blacksmith said.
The blacksmith questioned Damon about the metal's origin, but Damon kept it a secret, wearing a smirk on his face. The blacksmith didn't press the issue, instead saying, "I don't care about your secrets, lad. Come back in a week, and I'll have your armor ready."
Damon nodded and headed home, feeling a sense of anticipation. As he arrived at his residence, he was greeted by his childhood friend, Saya. She looked worried, and Damon realized he had forgotten about her. He felt a pang of guilt and apologized for his neglect.
Saya's expression softened, and she began to talk about her concerns. Damon listened intently, and as they spoke, he realized that Saya was struggling to find her place in the world. He decided to share a mysterious voice's assessment of her potential, hoping it would boost her confidence.
The voice, known as Wizner, revealed that Saya had the potential to become a diamond player and a powerful mage if she could defeat 10 platinum-rank golems. Damon's conversation with Saya was filled with excitement and determination. He convinced her to face the golems, citing self-protection and growth as motivations.
As they discussed the plan, Damon's eyes locked onto Saya's determined gaze, and he felt a surge of protectiveness. He knew the dangers that lay ahead, and he couldn't bear the thought of Saya getting hurt. A decision crystallized in his mind.
"I'll do it alone," Damon said, his voice firm. "I'll face the platinum-rank golems solo. It's safer for you. I don't want you to get hurt."
Saya's eyes widened in surprise, but Damon stood firm in his decision.
With a newfound sense of purpose, Damon began to prepare for the battles ahead, his determination and excitement driving him forward. The prospect of facing platinum-rank golems was daunting, but Damon was ready to take on the challenge.
