Amethyst retracted from the hug slowly and glared at Lucky, puzzle in her eyes. How did he and Nathan meet? What did they mean by "Supposed to be dead"? And how come he is Nathan's ex-girlfriend's brother. Gabriel too, he clearly attacked Nathan that night, why is he helping them now? What exactly happened without her knowledge? How did they all change?
Her gaze moved back to Nathan, still confused but Nathan show no sign of telling her what happened. His hand only move to her face and he wipe off the tears that were on her cheek. He moved to the plaster that was on the left side, wanting to remove it but Amethyst hold him down.
'it would look terrible. It would make you more sad and guilty. I would look ugly too.' She said, biting her lips shyly. The last thing she wants is Nathan seeing her looking scary like a monster. What if he gets scared and run away from her?
'I'm not scared of seeing you ugly.' He refuted, pulling his hand away from her hold.
Goldie, hearing their conversation pulled out of the heavenly-like hug, turning to look at the duo with worry in her eyes. Her brow creased as Nathan's hand move to the plaster and he uncover it slowly.
She sallow the hard ball of saliva in her throat as tears rolled out of Amethyst's right eye. He removed the cotton wool from her eyes but strangely…. Brightness hit her closed eye.
'Try opening your eyes Heather.' He said, more like a command and slowly…. Her lashes raised…. Revealing that enchanting brown eyeballs.
'Ammy!' Goldie exclaimed and push Nathan out of the way. She grabbed Amethyst and pull her forward.
'Your eyes is still there, can you see me? You can still see mama right?' she asked curiously while Amethyst, dumb strucked herself nodded positively.
'Her eyes is still intact, so are other organs' Nathan's voice pierced from behind while Goldie eyes widen more, her eyes curving in surprise and sadness, tears brimming in them.
Her daughter can still see her!
Her organs are still complete.
'You bastard lovesick fool, how do you know? How do you see through my trick? What more did you know?' furious, Victoria asked. Even Amethyst who was the owner of the body did not know that she was just sedated and hadn't been operated on, how then did Nathan who was locked up in the room know?
'Taking someone's kidney and half of the liver, exaggeratingly one of the eye, it is 101% illegal and against the law so… you certainly can't get it done in any hospital with just any doctors. It must be a corrupted doctor, your own person. At high level secrecy but… few hours to the surgery period, Lucky and Gabriel helped to abduct the doctor in charge. You get normal doctors to inject her with sedatives that makes her weak from within and plastered her face and belly so that she could believe that the surgery already took place. The doctor was recently released so you came up with a lie to trick her away and take the organs for real but woman, how can the doctor perform three different surgeries on the same person in just a day, at one go? And the patient still survives. Even the dumbest doctor would know that it is a lie.'
'Bastard! so it was you! You were the one who ruined my plan. God forsaken wrecked son, it was you!' shouting like the maniac she was, Victoria struggled for release, all her veins popping out.
'Take her away.' He said to the police while they nodded as if receiving orders from their superiors.
Victoria's gaze landed on Gabriel, that envious greedy little child that she has.
'Hey Gabriel, you joined this lovesick fool in betraying me. You know we both are different. You resemble me the most. I love you than I love him you should know. You can't do this to mother. I would cuddle you to bed and sing you lullaby. You are the best son in the world so you can't let anything happen to your mother. You must get me out and this time, I promise to favor you more.' She knew gabriel's weakness. "Attention." That greedy little kid took more of her trait that even after watching her kill his younger brother and his twin girlfriend, he still did not rat her out. He instead, step boldly and utter those greedy words "Treat me better than Nathan and I would never disclose what I saw to anyone." Ever since they were young he always wanted everything by all means while Nathan gets everything effortlessly, without competing or stressing himself which make Gabriel jealous. Jealous of his own twin. He let the whole world call his twin a psychopath, just because he could strike a deal of favoritism with the buried truth. 2nd psychopath!
Gabriel looked back at Victoria. 'I am always greedy and I choose what benefits me the most. This time, what benefits me is having you go to jail, to pay for your sins.' He said, coldly, not denying that he is a greedy bastard. 'I learned this game from you; mother, I would make sure to play it well.' He concluded.
As of now, that's what benefit him the most. She as their mother, was the one who killed their last brother, her own son. Just because Nathan lied to her and visited her girlfriend instead of going to Mexico, she staged his accident, pushing him to death's door. Lucky offered help to distract Amethyst's mind away from Nathan and what she paid him with was a bowl of poisonous juice. Sooner or later, his turn would come, when he would be the victim. He would rather be the predator now, than to be one of the numerous victims.
