The duo looked away, staying silent while their heard drummed hardly in their chest, unable to focus on the book that was before them.
'I'm sorry Ammy' he said, still not looking at her while amethyst nodded, her gaze still fixed on the textbook.
'i… I forgot that I have something to do in my room. I would leave for now.' She said, standing on her feet while Nathan too stood up immediately, scared.
'i… are you angry? I said it was just a slip of tongue. We may remain as the normal friend that we are.' He said his eyes watery, full of hope.
'i… don't get the wrong picture… I only need some time alone.' She replied, looking down at her own feet. She walk forward, aiming toward the door but her dress pin the table, causing the textbook that was on the table to fall as she moves. She turns back sharply, her red cheek growing even redder.
'Uh… I … I'm sorry.' She apologized as she bends down to pick up the book that split across the floor but pause as soon as she saw a piece of paper. Though she doesn't seems to understand what was written there, she could still see her name there.
'what's this?' seeing that it is Nathaniel's writing, she asked but as soon as Nathan sees it, he snatched it and squeeze it.
'i… i… it is nothing. Just a piece of nonsense.' he lied, squashing the paper more in his hands but his reaction left amethyst more suspicious. He tosses the paper across the room and cleans his hands.
'You don't have to worry, it is not reasonable.' He added while amethyst nodded, her gaze still fixed on where the paper was lying. She smile awkwardly and turn back to leave.
Is he hiding something from her?
She walk out of the room and continue to walk down the street but pause as the window to Nathan's old classroom shut open and a squeezed paper fly out of it, then the window closes again. She looks around the entire place and sneaks down to take it. She then fled to her room.
She would check what he is hiding.
*Amethyst room*
Resting her back on the wall, amethyst open the paper and glance through it but in the entire long sentence, the only thing she seems to understand is the word "Belle" which means beauty, "Principessa" which means princess and lastly "viola" which means purple, her name. This is a total different language. A language very different from English.
She turns on her phone and went to Google translator so that it would translate what he wrote.
