There was one Theo in front of me and one behind my back. One of them should have been a mirage of my mind…but both felt solid and real.
"Kyle, please don't be angry at me. It was not my idea to do all this. My other half made me do this and I also agree that it is necessary to correct all that went wrong. You agree as well, right?"
This Theo holding me felt more naive (or pretended to be) as he looked at me. Unlike the one before, this one reminded me too much of the alpha I had gotten to know.
Before I could reply, the meaner Theo turned my face toward him and lips bit my ear. When he pulled back, his wet breath whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver.
"This is not fair! I was the one who did most of the work, so why do you take the credit? It should be me who Kyle should be paying attention to. Right, Kyle?"
Theo asked as I felt my throat freeze up. I opened my mouth to speak only for the younger-feeling Theo to frown with jealousy at his older counterpart's action.
