Tyler flew down after flying for hour. He looked around and saw he was in the woods. It was dark and creepy, he heard some many sounds and unsettling echoes. He wandered a bit and heard something coming from the bush, he went closer to see what was in the bush. A creature crept out of the bush scaring Tyler, Tyler screamed and the creature also screamed. The two stopped and Tyler looked at the creature in disgust
''who are you'' Tyler asked
''am a goblin, the smartest creature in the woods'' the goblin said
As they were still talking a girl flew in with a rope and she threw a rock at the goblin's head and landed perfectly in front of them.
''where is the thing I sent you to bring'' Lily asked
''am sorry, I got carried away on my way I met this boy'' the Goblin said
''you stupid thing, here you are telling people you are the smartest creature in the woods, why not you are the dumbest creature of all'' Lily said
Tyler kept quiet looking at Lily, like she was a goddess, while she shouted at the goblin. Lily turned and looked Tyler and stared at him for ten seconds, before she said
''who are you, and what are you doing here'' Lily asked
''my name is Tyler and I think am lost in your beauty''
''what'' Lily said
''I mean, am lost I can't find my way back'' Tyler quickly changed what he said before
''I see, so where do you come from'' Lily asked
''I came from Tenebrous'' Tyler said
Lily looked at Tyler in an angry way, and pinned him down to the ground.
''what was your mission here, who were you sent to kill''? Lily asked Tyler while pinning him firm to the ground.
''am not on any mission to kill anyone, I just got lost exploring the jungle and forest'' Tyler said hoping she would let go after saying this
She pinned him to the ground even harder, while asking him more questions.
''so you are telling me you got lost, and you are from tenebrous'' Lily asked
''yes am not lying'' Tyler said pleading for her to let him go
Lily looked at him for some seconds before letting him go.
''I believe you, if not I wasn't convinced with your explanation, I would have killed you'' Lily said leaving Tyler more terrified
Lily and the goblin started to leave, Tyler just sat on a rock and bent his head. Lily turned back and saw he doesn't have anywhere to go. she had pity for him and told Tyler to follow them home. They got to a small house more like a hut, Tyler met Lily's dad who look like a lumberjack, he was tall and strong. Lily loved her dad so much, they had dinner and Lily's dad went to bed, the goblin crawled into hole and slept in there.
Lily was outside admiring the stars in the skies Tyler saw her and joined her outside.
''you sure have a great dad, who loves you and takes care of you very well'' Tyler said
''yeah, my dad is a great after my mom died, he took it upon himself to care and give me a good life'' Lily expressed her self
''am so sorry, how did she die''
''you remembered why I held you down that time, when you said your from tenebrous'' Lily said
''yeah what happened''
''we are from tenebrous too we ran away because of Malakar. He took over as king from his brother, and he turned everything upside down'' Lily said. ''my mum walked as a servant in the palace, and every time my mom is working and Malakar is around, he always looked at my mom in an unusual way and this made my mom irritated. She tried avoiding him every time, but he always found his way to her. One day he was in his room and my mom came to clean his room, he just finished taking his bath and came out. He saw my mom cleaning his room, and carefully waited for her to finish. When she was done about to leave, Malakar stopped her and told her to come, she refused and Malakar got angry and dragged her. Malakar raped my mom and cursed her with a deceive spell, which made her weak every passing day. Then one day Malakar tried to kill us, we had to run away but my mom died and we didn't know what to do, we left her body their and ran away and we lived here'' Lily explained
''am sorry, you went through all this pains'' Tyler said
''it's alright, as long as we are far away from Malakar and we are safe with my dad'' Lily said
Lily placed her head on Tyler's shoulder, while she sobbed. Tyler wrapped his hands around her while comforting her, the both of them starred at each other for some seconds and was about to kiss, when the goblin came outside and interrupted them.
''am sorry I was looking for you Lily'' the goblin said
''what do you want you ball head'' Lily said angrily
''your dad asked me to check if you had slept'' the goblin said
''well I haven't slept yet, are you happy now'' Lily said
The goblin went back inside, Lily led Tyler to a place he could sleep, Tyler thanked her and he lie down on the bed. He looked at the stars and said
''one day I will take over my kingdom and reunite with my people and defeat Malakar'' Tyler said this and went to bed
