Chapter 168 - YGS [168]

Hearing Amber's invitation to play Genius Invokation TCG, Luya helplessly shook his head and said with a smile, "Really now... in this day and age, people are still playing Genius Invokation?"

Amber blinked in confusion, her eyes widening in surprise. Frowning, she stomped her foot and placed her hands on her hips. "What's wrong with Genius Invokation?!" she demanded.

Luya smiled mysteriously, confidence gleaming in his eyes. "Haha, I have a much more interesting game I'm planning to bring to Mondstadt."

Amber widened her eyes in disbelief. "I don't believe it!" she exclaimed. Then, clenching her fists before her chest, she declared firmly, "Genius Invokation is the best in the world!"

"Genius Invokation... activate!" Amber pulled her deck from her belt.

Unfazed, Luya calmly drew out his own deck and swiftly fixed his Duel Disk onto his left arm.

"Wow, what's that thing?!" Amber cried in amazement, her eyes widening with curiosity at the strange device.

"What kind of cards are those? They don't look anything like Genius Invokation!" she said, pointing at Luya's Yu-Gi-Oh! deck, her face full of bewilderment. She leaned closer, peering carefully as if to uncover the secret behind the cards.

Her eyes froze on the image of a mighty dragon printed on one of the Monster Cards—[Slifer the Sky Dragon].

Fearing it might frighten her, Luya decided not to summon it directly. Instead, he reached into his system inventory and, as if performing a magic trick, produced a [Burstinatrix] card.

He placed it gently onto the Duel Disk, and in an instant, Burstinatrix materialized in a dazzling display. Clad in a crimson battle suit that accentuated her form, she stood proud, her expression fierce and resolute.

Amber gasped, instinctively stepping back several paces. Her foot caught on a stone, and she nearly stumbled—but Luya quickly steadied her.

The sight of a monster being summoned before her eyes was far too much. Amber's wide eyes shimmered with awe and disbelief.

After a long moment, she finally regained her composure and stammered, "W-What... what is that?!"

A proud smile spread across Luya's face as he cheerfully introduced, "This is the new game I'm bringing to Mondstadt. It's called Yu-Gi-Oh!"

At that, Amber's eyes lit up like fire, gleaming with excitement. "Wow, that sounds amazing!" she exclaimed.

Seeing her reaction, Luya smiled faintly and said softly, "So, Miss Happy Little Torch, could you help me find a good shop location?"

Amber immediately caught on. With hands on her hips, she gave a knowing grin and said proudly, "Oh, so you're opening a store!"

Luya nodded lightly. "Yeah, I'm ready to open one—price isn't an issue."

"Heh, then leave it to me!" Amber lifted her chin, flashing a confident smile. Making an 'OK' gesture, she replied cheerfully, "I'll take care of it!"

"Honestly, I'm really looking forward to seeing this game spread through Mondstadt!" Amber said eagerly, leaning forward with her fists clenched in excitement.

"You don't even know what Yu-Gi-Oh! is yet, and you already want to spread it?" Luya chuckled.

"Just the fact that your Yu-Gi-Oh! can actually summon monsters is already incredible!" Amber's eyes sparkled as though she had discovered a priceless treasure, unable to contain her excitement.

"Haha, then I'll be counting on your help," Luya said sincerely.

"No problem—leave it to me!" Amber said confidently, patting her chest.

"Thanks," Luya said, expressing his gratitude.

"Then let's head into the city!" Amber exclaimed, grabbing Luya's hand without hesitation and striding toward Mondstadt City, eager to begin promoting Yu-Gi-Oh!.

...

Following Amber's lead, Luya walked briskly, soon passing through Windrise. The gentle breeze brushed against his cheeks like silk, bringing a cool, refreshing sensation.

Tilting his head slightly upward, he breathed in the air of freedom that defined Mondstadt. The wind tousled his hair, and his heart felt as light as the breeze itself.

It was as though he could hear the whisper of the wind—its freedom, its liveliness. In that moment, he and the wind of Mondstadt became one, sharing its boundless freedom.

Running alongside Amber, it wasn't long before they crossed the stone bridge and arrived before the magnificent gates of Mondstadt City.

The city's architecture flowed naturally with the terrain—rising layer by layer from the gates upward. The lower areas were mostly residential and market districts, while landmarks such as the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, the Cathedral of Favonius, and the Goth Grand Hotel stood atop the higher elevations.

"The wind carries dandelion seeds, songs, and stories afar—and it also brings gentle travelers to our land," Amber said with a bright smile, turning toward Luya with warmth in her eyes.

Luya nodded. "Mondstadt truly feels free. You can sense it the moment you step in."

Amber lifted her head slightly and closed her eyes, savoring the breeze against her face, her expression full of yearning for that freedom.

As they entered the city gates, Amber led Luya deeper inside. The residents of Mondstadt were long used to seeing Amber guiding newcomers around the city. Many greeted her enthusiastically, and she waved back with her usual cheerful smile.

"Haha, Amber, you're really popular," Luya said, impressed.

At his words, Amber's cheeks flushed—whether from heat or shyness, it was hard to tell. She glanced aside and murmured, "Let's just hurry and check out those shops!"
