Chapter 164 - YGS [164]

The first sea breeze of dawn gently swept across Liyue Harbor, heralding the arrival of a new day. The wind, like nature's own messenger, carried with it a refreshing breath of life. The harbor's waters shimmered like countless diamonds, sunlight scattering across the surface in brilliant, dreamlike hues.

On this new day, Luya was about to accomplish something important—establishing his own electronics factory, employing the people of Liyue Harbor, and beginning production of game consoles.

"There are more and more customers these days!" Luya exclaimed as Ganyu opened the shop door. Seeing so many people, he could feel the pulse of life returning to the harbor.

Today, Luya planned to visit the sites Keqing had suggested and begin founding his factory. To prepare for this, he had set aside four billion Mora from yesterday's revenue.

...

After breakfast, with Shenhe and Ganyu handling the shop's business, everything continued running smoothly. Thanks to these two capable employees, Luya could leave with peace of mind to take care of other matters.

His first destination today was Guili Plains.

Guili Plains, an ancient settlement outside the Liyue Harbor district, now lay in ruins, though traces of its former glory could still be felt. Once, it had been a bustling city adorned with wild Glaze Lilies, where people lived in peace and happiness.

However, after countless upheavals, the place had long been deserted—only crumbling walls remained as silent witnesses.

Dreams once bright had faded, paradise had perished in chaos, and those who returned soon left again. As Luya walked through the ruins, he was filled with emotion.

He imagined the bustling markets, the laughter of its people, and the beautiful days that had vanished. Though Guili Plains was now a wasteland, it remained a living testament to Liyue's history.

Luya summoned the system in his mind and opened the Land Purchase interface. A miniature 3D projection of Liyue appeared before him, like a scaled model of a grand real estate plan.

...

At the top of the projection, an annotation read:

Liyue, a prosperous harbor on the eastern coast of Teyvat. Towering mountains, stone forests, vast plains, and vibrant wetlands shape its rich landscape, flourishing under a temperate four-season climate. Hidden among its rocky peaks lie countless ancient gifts from the Geo Archon, awaiting discovery.

Luya examined the projection.

[Bishui Plain]

[Guili Plains]

[Minlin]

[Guyun Stone Forest]

[Lisha]

[The Chasm]

All of Liyue's regions appeared before him. Wasting no time, Luya selected [Guili Plains].

Guili Plains consisted of four key areas: Guili Assembly, Mingyun Village, Yaoguang Shoal, and Luhua Pool. Now, Luya opened the map for Guili Assembly.

Unlike when he had previously opened the map for Chihu Rock, dotted with numerous [+] symbols indicating purchasable land plots, this time there were no [+] icons at all.

And when Luya checked the prices, every plot showed as 0 Mora!—meaning he could build freely here, paying only construction costs without any land fees.

This discovery delighted Luya immensely. Acting at once, he began developing across the Guili ruins. From the system shop, he exchanged for massive amounts of building modules and, following his planned layout, began rapid construction.

Structure after structure rose as Mora flowed away like water, though Luya didn't mind. Money spent could always be earned back. With each payment, another building materialized on the once-empty plains.

In just two hours, the barren ruins of Guili Plains had transformed into a thriving modern cityscape. Where broken walls once stood, tall buildings now rose high, fitted with every modern convenience. Wide, orderly streets lined with green trees and blooming flowers spread out across the land.

Standing at the street corner, Luya gazed at the result of his work, his heart racing with excitement. The ruins had come alive once more, evolving into a modern, bustling city. Many electronics factories now stood among them.

It no longer looked like an industrial district, but rather an entertainment zone. There were snack streets, leisure areas, and of course, scratch card shops—Luya hadn't forgotten those.

After all, once he hired workers, he planned to earn back their wages through the stores. In doing so, he would drive Liyue's economy toward a healthy cycle of growth. For Liyue's future, this was a great thing indeed.

Standing on a high platform overlooking the Guili Plains, Luya admired his creation. At that moment, Zhongli appeared silently behind him.

"Hahaha, truly impressive, Shopkeeper," Zhongli said with calm admiration.

"How did you even do this? It's incredible!" cheered Guizhong's spirit, hovering behind Zhongli.

Seeing Guizhong, Luya suddenly remembered—he could now materialize Monster Cards. That meant he could bring Guizhong back to the mortal world. And moreover, she could oversee this new city for him.

"These are just a few things I built casually," Luya said lightly, turning toward Zhongli and Guizhong.

"Casually? If this is 'casual,' what would it look like if you went all out? Hahaha!" Guizhong laughed like a lively young girl. The once-still air filled with her cheerful voice.

"Guizhong, I'd like you to manage this new city for me—would you be willing?" Luya asked softly.

"Of course I'd love to, but in this form, I can't really do much…" Guizhong said with a hint of helplessness, glancing at him with an awkward smile.

"No problem… I'll bring you back to life~"

"Huh?!"
