Chapter 162 - YGS [162]

Although Keqing was a little shy, deep down she was very happy. Being suddenly kissed by Luya had caught her completely off guard—yet somehow, it felt… nice.

For someone like Keqing, always busy with work, a fleeting thought surfaced in her heart.

So this is what ordinary people call happiness—a small surprise in daily life...

At that moment, Keqing began to imagine her future marriage with Luya. Now that things had reached this point, marriage seemed like the natural next step~

Keqing came from a noble family. Luya wasn't of noble birth—he didn't meet her family's traditional standards. However, now, in terms of both strength and achievement, Luya was unrivaled throughout all of Liyue.

Keqing had always devoted herself fully to her work, but to her surprise, that single kiss from Luya had turned her into a lovestruck fool, daydreaming about a blissful married life. After marriage, maybe she could take a break and experience a slower, gentler life. That didn't sound so bad.

Her mind spun rapidly, conjuring all sorts of vivid little scenes. Keqing felt her head overheating…

...

Seeing her face grow redder by the second, Luya chuckled. He thought about the future—when he finally discovered how to return to Blue Star, he'd take Keqing with him, get a marriage certificate, and introduce her to his grandfather. That would be nice.

Abruptly, then—he quickly shook his head.

No, he couldn't marry on Blue Star. It had to be… in Teyvat!

If he married once in every nation of Teyvat, that would make seven weddings.

He paused, then shook his head again—why stop there? He could just establish his own Yu-Gi-Oh! kingdom and marry as many times as he wanted.

...

Soon, the Head Chef brought out several dishes—all of Keqing's favorites. Before long, the two had finished their meal.

"Alright, dinner's over… now let's get down to business!" Keqing said, quickly slipping back into her usual serious demeanor. This matter concerned all of Liyue, and she treated it with utmost importance.

"Here's a map of Liyue. These are all potential factory sites."

Keqing unfolded a large map and handed it to Luya.

A vast map of Liyue spread open before him, every region clearly marked. Keqing had annotated everything.

Dihua Marsh—shaped by the flow of the Bishui River—was an alluvial plain and wetland. The rustle of reeds and the chorus of frogs filled the air. Fertile soil, lush vegetation, and abundant resources—it was a land of promise. If the population increased, Dihua Marsh could flourish even more, driving Liyue's expansion into surrounding areas.

Other developable regions included Guili Plains, Yaoguang Shoal, Luhua Pool, and Mingyun Village. However, these areas lacked infrastructure and were sparsely populated.

Nonetheless, now, with Luya's Land Purchase Function, infrastructure would no longer be a concern—and with Lady Yuheng Keqing's help recruiting workers, manpower was not a problem either. If certain key talents were missing, Luya could even materialize monsters to fill those roles.

"If you plan to build a factory, I recommend Guili Plains or Mingyun Village. The area near The Chasm would also be a solid choice. Mingyun Village used to be a prosperous mining town. It was abandoned a few years ago when its resources ran dry. Once, flowers bloomed across its thriving streets—that said, all dreams must end, and paradise was lost to chaos. Its people left, never to return. Still, there's plenty of flat land you can use directly. And near The Chasm, transporting ore would be easy."

Keqing explained every detail about Liyue's geography.

Guili Plains, located outside the Liyue Harbor district, was the site of ancient settlements. One could still feel echoes of its former prosperity. After countless upheavals, the place was long deserted, leaving only crumbling ruins as silent sentinels.

The Chasm lay to the west of Lisha, a region of complex terrain filled with strange ecosystems and geological wonders. Its cliffs towered high, while its underground mines stretched deep into endless caverns. Down below, dim light flickered over twisting tunnels and dangerous creatures.

"Mm… these places are indeed good choices," Luya said seriously. Some of Keqing's suggestions matched his own ideas—if he used them well, he could start production and earn profits in no time.

...

"Thank you so much!" Luya said with a smile.

"It's nothing. I'm just helping Liyue's growth, after all! If your factory succeeds, Liyue's economy will rise to a new level! As one of the Liyue Qixing, I'll benefit as well," Keqing said, her eyes shining with genuine joy. It was clear she truly wished to see Liyue prosper.

"Hahaha, perfect! Let's make Liyue even better together!" Luya nodded, patting her head before pulling her into his arms.

"The Rite of Parting is approaching, and work will get busy again soon. So I'll have my hands full these next few days." This time, Keqing wasn't flustered—after all, she'd just been through plenty of surprises. She was getting used to it.

After spending so many days with Luya, Keqing had come to find him incredibly dependable. He offered generous wages to those who would work under him for Liyue's future, and his strange powers could bring enormous benefits to the city's development.

Though not a god, Luya's deeds surpassed even the divine in Keqing's eyes. Being with him filled her heart with joy. She was already planning when to bring Luya home to meet her family!

Now that manpower and land were secured for the factory, Luya was ecstatic. And the thought of working alongside Keqing to build up Liyue's future made him even more eager. He couldn't wait to start building his electronics factory and move on to the next stage.

Life in Teyvat was looking brighter than ever.
