An Yan looked thoughtful. This thing is like a lightsaber, and they can mass-produce it? The Second Hokage's research ability is truly god-tier.
Hiruzen tapped the ash from his pipe, pulling An Yan from his thoughts. He looked at him seriously.
"An Yan, you are an outstanding child. I am giving you this sword in the hope that you will inherit the will of our predecessors and grow into a great tree that shelters Konoha. Do you understand?"
It was time to show his loyalty. An Yan stood at attention, looked Hiruzen straight in the eye, and said with a serious expression, "I will not disappoint your expectations, Lord Hokage."
Hiruzen encouraged him with a few more words about the Will of Fire and then left, satisfied.
An Yan walked out of the mission hall, his steps light.

However, An Yan also understood that the Third Hokage was investing in him because he saw his value. But it didn't matter to him. He would take what was given and listen to what was said. As long as he showed the right attitude, it was fine. If one day his personal interests clashed with the collective's, and they wanted to sacrifice him, he wouldn't hesitate to turn on them.
With nothing else to do, An Yan went to the Senju compound to visit Mito Uzumaki. She was his biggest backer in Konoha for the next twenty years.
Mito was as serene as ever. She smiled at his arrival and asked about his recent activities. An Yan only reported the good news, showing off his new Sword of the Thunder God.
Mito praised him politely and then gave him some homework.
There were many things related to sealing jutsu, such as barrier ninjutsu. A single Four Violet Flames Formation could force the entire village to watch as Hiruzen died. A single Four Red Yang Formation could trap the Ten-Tails.
The Uzumaki clan had the innate Kekkei Genkai, the Adamantine Sealing Chains, which was both a sealing jutsu and a barrier jutsu. Many of the Uzumaki clan's sealing jutsu were used in conjunction with this ability.
An Yan was not an Uzumaki. To perfectly utilize their sealing jutsu, he needed to develop a similar technique.
Mito Uzumaki extended her golden chains. She explained as she let An Yan observe and sense them. He soon understood the composition of the chakra and sealing formulas in the chains.
Although it would be difficult for him to master it himself, he could probably teach Nagato how to do it.
Fortunately, An Yan had extremely fine chakra control. He mimicked the structure of the Adamantine Sealing Chains and created an extended blue chakra chain. Dense sealing runes wriggled on the chain before disappearing into it, and the blue chakra gradually turned golden.

He thought of the Wind Tunnel, the ultimate move of Miroku from the old anime Inuyasha. The ninja world had a similar technique: Chiyo's Sealing Technique: Three Treasures Suction Crushing.
Could he develop a similar jutsu with sealing jutsu as a support?
An Yan asked Mito about this, but she was unable to help. She wasn't skilled in developing ninjutsu; she specialized in sealing jutsu.
However, An Yan soon had an idea. He thought of the Palm Vortex from a certain god-like game and began to experiment excitedly.
Most Wind Style jutsu were about releasing wind. There were very few that sucked it in. An Yan had experience with the Rasengan. He hadn't added nature transformation before because he was afraid of injuring his arm like Naruto. He didn't have Naruto's top-tier physique; if his chakra pathways were severed, he would be crippled.
But what if the development of the Rasengan wasn't in the direction of the Wind Style: Rasenshuriken?
An Yan used his shadow clones and began to practice cautiously in Training Ground 13.
