Long before memory, before kingdoms and clans, before even the flow of time could be counted, two forces stirred.
One was Light. One was Darkness.
Not brothers, not kin — only eternal opposites.
Neither bound, neither free. They clashed, they drifted apart, they clashed again. No mortal could tell why, no immortal could answer how. Their war was not one of reason, but of existence itself.
Amidst this endless struggle, a boy was born. He was not a prince of any great clan, nor the heir of a fallen empire. His identity lay hidden, like the quiet heart of a storm. His name was Ming.
And in his journey, there was a Princess. She was fire and warmth, a girl whose heart matched his own. They loved each other — not with fleeting affection, but with a bond that stretched across lifetimes.
Yet, a force older than gods wove itself between them. No matter how close their hands reached, no matter how long their eyes lingered, they could never truly stand together. Their closeness was denied, always.
So the wheel of reincarnation turned.
Life after life, they returned.
Each time, their memories were sealed, their past hidden from them.
Yet fate was cruel — when they strayed too near, when their bond grew too deep, glimpses of what was lost flickered at the edges of their souls.
Would there ever come a day when those memories awoke?
Would they finally break free of that unseen barrier?
Or would the mystery remain eternal — a question without answer, a love that could never be complete?
No one knows.
Not even the gods.
And so begins the tale of Ming — an ordinary boy who stepped into a world of clans, beasts, gods, and wars.

A tale where Light and Darkness wage eternal war — and the question of who Ming truly is remains unanswered.
