The enforcers onboard ran through the deck, rushing to get to their rooms. Doors slammed and thunder cut the silence in between. Rain started to pour down on them. The captain frowned and went full throttle. Its blades spun rapidly, pushing though the rough waters. Arthur caught himself on the railing. Maple, Amelia, Kay and Harvey passed with hurried steps, trying to get away from the rain.
"Hurry up!" Maple shouted.
Arthur grunted and ran with all his might but unfortunately his left leg slipped. He caught himself and stood up. More careful this time, he trailed behind his mates. Eventually, they found themselves a room. The group gasped for air.
"Dang…this ship really has lots of rooms." Kay commented.
"I know, right? I've…only seen smaller…boats at lakes but…this is huge!" Amelia sat down on the bed.
"Let's see…two units, 40 enforcers with drivers and researchers and others so…around 30 rooms – maybe." Arthur said.
"But…there are only two beds here…" Maple pointed out.
Everyone turned around, realizing there were only two beds.
"Ah…guess we'll have to share rooms then…" Harvey said.
Maple's heart began to beat rapidly as some…thoughts ran through her mind. The room fell into a deep silence as one waited for another to talk. Then, Arthur's voice cut through the silence.
"Me and Kay will share a room. Maple and Amelia will share one and then…Harvey…"
"Oh, don't worry. I'll find myself a room but first, let me dry off a bit."
It was then, that everyone finally realized that they were drenched in water.
"Yeah…That's fine." Arthur mumbled.

The ship moved away from the great eastern wall which was constantly under attack by the benthos. Yet, they ignored the massive entity moving through their waters as if it didn't exist to them. Wave after wave crash into the base, making the crew grunt. Matthew who was in his room with his teammate felt dizziness.
"Hey…Josh. I think I'm about to puke. " Matthew covered his mouth, trying to balance himself as his room moved.
"No – no! Do not puke in here. Get in the bathroom!" Josh screamed as he also tried not to fall.
Josh had dark hair and eyes with a muscular body that was covered by his clothes, making him look frail like a twig. He had mole on his cheek and a large forehead which was covered by his hair, making others feel he was depressed when he was in fact not.

A massive wave began to from a few meters from the ship, covering the boat from the top. The captain screamed and pushed the accelerator. The ship rushed ahead into the tsunami. The ship was temporarily covered by water before it pierced the other side. Multiple string of lightnings struck at them and the wave, creating a moment that belonged in a myth. The captains rose to its peak as he gripped the wheel firmly. The crewmembers screamed, holding on for dear life. The ship tumbled down into the sea, leaning left and right.
"Crewmembers be on standby. Check if any parts have if damaged. I repeat check if any parts have been damaged."
The captain spoke through the comms. The crew which was wearing water-proof clothes, sighed and went to check the parts of the ship. After an hour, a man returned and picked up the radio.
"Captain, the ship is clear. I repeat, the ship is clear."
The captain nodded. "Good job, men. Take a few minutes off."
"Thank you, sir." The man put the radio.
He informed the other crewmembers of their rest and they happily went to rest.

Arthur took off his vest and jacket after drying off and threw them onto the bed. He then, entered the bathroom but Kay called out to him.
"Hey, how long are you gonna take?"
"A few minutes…" Arthur closed the door.
"Ah…Okay…" Kay replied.
He had taken off his vest and jacket like Arthur but hung them on the hanger attached to the wall. He looked around the room and sighed. The room tilted constantly like a seesaw, making balancing almost impossible.
'Never thought I would be going to the forbidden continent…even I didn't go there during the final exam…only Arthur and Missio were able to go there.'
He stared at the while ceiling as thunder sparked through the clouds.
'I want to be as strong as them…but I feel so…incompetent…only if I was as strong, as confident, as skilled as them…'
He shook his head. Feeling tired, he sprung from his head but hit his head on the ceiling. He hissed, clutching his head as he landed. Just then, Arthur exited the bathroom and saw Kay on the ground in pain. With a dumbfounded face, he asked Kay.
"Oh, for heaven's sake. What did you do?"
Kay looked at Arthur with tears in his eyes. "Nothing just slammed my head on the ceiling."
Arthur heaved a sigh and stepped down. He walked by Kay and sat down on his bed.
"Wash yourself up if you want. I'm taking nap."
Arthur lied down on the bed. Kay picked himself and went to the bathroom.
"Hey! Turn off the light!" Arthur shouted.
Kay stopped and turned around. He leaned out the bathroom and closed the light. Then, went back in to do his business. Arthur closed his eyes and slowly drifted into slumber. Before long, he was out cold.

Nyx yawned. She stretched her arms in tiredness. David who was beside her also yawned. Nyx chuckled and opened her mouth.
"David, are you feeling a little tired?"
David looked back at her. "Yes…yes, I am."
Then, he yawned and Nyx smiled. She stood up and took off her jacket and hung.
"I should probably hang mine too." David stood up.
Nyx sat down as David hung his hat. He grunted and walked back to his bed. He lied down on the bed and drew a deep breath. Then, Nyx called out to him.
"Don't you feel…a little embarrassed to be in a room with a girl?"
"Ha – ha – ha, You, youngsters are really funny. I'm not a child. I have no need to feel embarrassed about this. Besides, I'm married."
David laughed but Nyx didn't. They heard another thunder strike but paid it no mind. Nyx lied down on her bed and prepared to sleep. The ship rocked back and forth constantly as thunder rang in their ears.
"Aren't you going to turn the lights off? Or are you gonna make an old man do it."
Nyx groaned. "…Fine."
Suddenly, the light flickered. The shadows on the clothes dampened and stretched to an unusual length. It became longer and longer until it reached the power panel. The light flickered rapidly as an unusual energy shook. The shadow turned off the light and disappeared. Nyx closed her eyes and relaxed her body.
"You, little damn avatar…I wish I had that power" David muttered under his breath.
