Chapter 107 - Chapter 101: The Bright Brilliant Blade Sect

Chapter 101: The Bright Brilliant Blade Sect

Over a month had passed since the Fae Region incident in the Pocket World. During that period, the major conflicts in the Southeastern region of the Desert Red Star Continent never let up. As a matter of fact, the wars spread as a few other dimensional gates opened up, and all sorts of factions invaded for resources, while also making efforts to cause destruction and gain footholds in other lands.

The Southeastern region of Desert Red Star, where numerous countries like Brawlmanica, Garffle, and Brassaint are located, had all decided that in about three years, they would schedule a grand regional meeting of ten nations to prepare for what was to come on their ends. The clans and the sects also decided to play a part in this meeting since it would affect them just as much, if not more.

Currently situated in the country of Brassaint, in a space far outside of Brassaint's Makayo Spirit Sword Kingdom, was The Celestial Shear. It was a vast vertical ridge believed to be split by a Sword that fell from the heavens. Located in that place were many huge buildings and sword-like mountains surrounded by powerful defensive formations, along with a river. The essence energy in this place was much higher compared to the lands outside of it. This place was in fact none other than the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect. All sorts of creatures could be found lingering throughout the lands and in the skies, most notably the Sword Birds.

In this sect, disciples were numerous but at a relatively controlled level where only decently talented disciples could become members. There were fewer Bronze Tier experts than there were Silver Tier experts, and the Silver Tier experts were the most numerous. The vast majority of experts, no matter where, could definitely become Silver Tiers with enough time and training, but to become a Gold Tier was much more strenuous.

In spite of that, it's not like there aren't very large numbers of Gold Tier experts in any Sect that can be rated at 2 stars. After all, the Gold Tier is still what is referred to as the Mortal Layer. Only after reaching Gold Tier 4, passing that mini threshold between 3 and 4, will most experts be taken seriously beyond just talent. Of course, age also plays a part.

In the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect, there are only two types of disciples: Inner Disciple and Core Disciple. Beyond that are the Elders, who must be at the Gold Tier 4 stage and beyond. Then there are the individuals at the next realm: Mortal Shedding Realm experts. Those who are Core Disciples are much lower in number compared to Inner Disciples and usually tend to be almost guaranteed to be talented enough to reach the Mortal Shedding Realm.

Currently sitting in his cultivation cave home in the sect's Core Disciple area, sat Elton, who was currently entertaining his friends, most of whom were also given the privilege to become Core Disciples. There was Ramiro, Zoro, Christy, Erica, and Shia (Who left the Fighting Brawlman sect) for the humans. There were a number of individuals from the Fae region who were also given special acceptance to enter the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect, and among those who were allowed to become Core Disciples were none other than Joe-Pine, Shayleaf, and Amberleaf.

Seralily, while not officially a Core Disciple, was allowed to be taken in by Ramiro as a Special Sparring Blade Disciple for Core Disciples, which is a program somewhat unique to the sect where any one Inner Disciple can receive such a privilege. It must also be said that if an Inner Disciple reaches a certain level by a certain age, even if they are somewhat late, they can certainly become Core Disciples.

Christy's friends from her time in the sect were also here.

"Oi Elton, so when do you plan on following up with Prince Hunter about this so-called deal?" asked Ramiro with curiosity.

"Hmm, I honestly don't know just yet, but for now I'm planning to lay low, continue to heal, and do some more cultivating. I also want to master all of the Bright Brilliance Sword Stances. Thanks again, Christy, for helping me to learn the first two back in Celebi Forest City," said Elton with warm words after making his decision.

"Hahaha, gege, you were destined to be a Core Disciple of this sect, so how could I not? And I also helped Big Brother Ramiro, Big Brother Zoro, and even the twin juniors of Big Brother Zoro," replied Christy.

Joe-Pine cut into the conversation as he gave his own assessment of the stances,

"This sword technique is surely profound in its own way. Rather than utilizing the sword itself, it's a technique that converts Ki into a type of sword aura depending on the stance and its execution. It's even able to do the same with magic! It's certainly a technique beyond what an ordinary 2-star sect is capable of holding."

Much laughter and discussion was being had among the group as they talked about various things and also exchanged pointers. Even recently, small rumors of a new faction being born in the sect were related to them. Regardless of where, factions are always sure to be formed, and the large Bright Brilliant Blade Sect was no exception. It was even encouraged as competition to grow the strength of its disciples.

It must also be noted that since two months ago, the current sect had actually swelled quite a bit in size when it came to disciples due to the resources and support of various clans, including the Aka Boshi no Tengan clan and, more recently, the Southeastern regional clan support of the Soloman clan. There were also various others. This in turn also created a need to swiftly expand the size of the sect itself, which wasn't really a problem since such preparations had long since been made in case the sect had another boon numerous years ago.

Five days later, after the gathering of friends with Elton's group in the Core Disciple areas, a news-breaking piece of information began to be released throughout the sect.

Prince Hunter of Brawlmanica's old Royal family made a breakthrough in his cultivation once more and had reached Gold Tier 3! This piece of information was too huge to keep contained because of his young age and talents. Not long after that piece of information came out, another piece of information followed it:

Prince Hunter would be withdrawing from the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect as a Core Disciple, but he would keep his status as an honorary disciple with ties to the Sect. Only a few people knew exactly what was happening and where he was going. Naturally, his two most faithful followers, along with another two that had also followed him but with lesser talents, would be leaving the sect as well.

There was currently a large gathering of friends and associates in a building outside of the sect walls but still in a place governed by the sect. The person of honor for this gathering was none other than Prince Hunter himself. Naturally, most of the guests were the White Star Radiance group.
