With Qing Ke's persuasion, Ning Wei agreed to give shopping another try. Of course, Ning Wei warned her grandmother not to pick anything with a lot of lace and frills.
The girls walked into another store.
Ning Wei followed her elders silently, bracing herself not to run off again each time her grandmother picked some clothes from the railing.
Qing Ke glanced at her daughter and smiled. She could tell that it was difficult for Ning Wei to stay around. If it were not for Ling Shuang by her side, there was a huge chance that Ning Wei might run off again. The look on Ning Wei's face almost made her laugh. If the elders were not present, Qing Ke would definitely tease her daughter.
Ning Wei was used to wearing a man's clothes. They hadn't gone out to shop for women's clothes before. It was she who would help Ning Wei purchase her lingerie. Most of the time, she would purchase it online.
Therefore, Qing Ke could understand Ning Wei's agitation.
