Ning Wei could not hide her surprise when she saw Qing Ke at Yan's residence. The light in her eyes lit up. Ning Wei picked up her pace to reach Qing Ke's side.
"Miss Qing!" Ning Wei gave her adoptive mother a look over.
Qing Ke patted Ning Wei's head before looking up to look at the Yan couple.
"I called your mother over," Peng Ying Tao said. "She should be anxious now that the press conference ended. Come on." She gestured towards the door. "Let's go in and talk."
Peng Ying Tao led the girls into the house, leaving her husband at the back.
"How are you feeling?" Qing Ke asked as they were seated in the living room. "I watched your press conference. I'm glad everything went smoothly for you."
"Hmm…" Ning Wei lowered her head as she recalled what happened earlier that day. From her short meeting with the boys and the unexpected encounter with Feng An Yu.
