Ning Wei ate her supper while chatting with Qing Ke about the event she had to attend.
Once she was done, Qing Ke sent her to rest while she cleaned up the dishes. Ning Wei wanted to protest, but in the end, it was not easy to win against Qing Ke. In the end, Ning Wei had to give in and head back to her room first.
Ning Wei took a long, hot shower. She walked out of the bathroom again, almost an hour later, feeling refreshed.
While drying her hair with a towel, Ning Wei reached for her phone on her desk. The light in her eyes lit up when she saw Feng An Yu's name on the notification. Looking at the time stamp, Ning Wei guessed that Feng An Yu had texted her while she was at the show.
She tapped her finger on the phone and smiled when she read his text.
