"According to your martial soul theory, it should be about five thousand years, but I want to try," Tang San said, raising his head to meet his master's gaze.
"Nonsense!" the master shouted. "Are you crazy? You know how dangerous cross-tier absorption is! If something happens to you, how could I explain to your father?"
"You are my only disciple and my proof to the world of martial soul theory. Without my permission, or your father's, you cannot die. Do you understand?"
Though harsh, Tang San sensed care and fear behind his words. Yet he refused to follow conventional cultivation—he wanted to break limits and become stronger.
As his soul power rose and soul rings increased, Tang San felt the disadvantages of Blue Silver Grass more acutely. Without the extra memories that had recently appeared in his mind, he might have lost patience with cultivation altogether.
The White Tiger martial soul of Dai Mubai and Phoenix martial soul of Ma Hongjun became increasingly powerful as their soul rings grew. Tang San's Blue Silver Grass, however, remained weak. Fortunately, his accelerated cultivation helped him keep up.

Tang San shook his head. "Master, remember in the Star Dou Forest, when I absorbed the third soul ring cross-tier? That's why I could attach an external soul bone. I have confidence in absorbing a ten-thousand-year fourth soul ring."
"In half a year, the Continental Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament begins. As your disciple, I'll prove your theory."
The master's anger gradually eased. If Tang San truly absorbed a ten-thousand-year soul ring, he would shine at the upcoming elite tournament. Then, as his master, who could question his theory?

Sighing, the master signaled to Flanders and Liu Erlong, agreeing to Tang San's request.
Suddenly, the ground shook. A massive White Tiger appeared. Flanders' eyes widened at the mark on its forehead.
"A ten-thousand-year-old White Tiger! Your luck is incredible, Xiao San," the master said, smiling. "It must be after the thousand-year White Tiger. Flanders, Erlong, let's use our Soul Fusion Skill to take it down!"
A golden formation appeared under the Golden Iron Triangle, followed by the master's roar:
"Sun-Moon Radiance Golden Spin!"
