The World Government specifically sent someone to relay this news to Ryōsuke.
Upon hearing the news, Ryōsuke went to Shirahoshi's bedchamber, resting on her soft curves as he shared the update with Princess Shirahoshi.
Princess Shirahoshi was absolutely overjoyed to hear it.
It was truly wonderful that her people were being released.
She knew her people had been captured by wicked humans, sold to the Celestial Dragons, and subjected to inhuman torture. This reality had tormented her for a long time.
But there had been no way to save them; even the Straw Hat Pirates, who had saved Fish-Man Island, were powerless to help.
They, too, were unable to rescue her people.
Yet now, this man had accomplished it.
"Ryōsuke, I want to tell my father."
Since the wedding had not yet taken place, her father was naturally staying in the inland sea of the Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets.
"Go ahead."
Ryōsuke waved his hand dismissively. Under his training, Princess Shirahoshi had already become adept at walking on land.
Shortly after, an excited Princess Shirahoshi arrived at the seaside and shared the news with her father.
King Neptune's face lit up with pleasant surprise upon hearing this. This man had truly fulfilled his promise.
At that moment, he was enjoying human delicacies, finding them more delicious with every bite. He knew he had made the right choice; they would never have to pay the Heavenly Tribute again.
He considered all the past Heavenly Tributes as nothing more than feeding the dogs.
The World Government were never protectors; they were the abusers.
His heart felt incredibly liberated.
Not long after, King the Conflagration, carrying two boxes, transformed into his Pteranodon form and flew back to the Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets.
This mission had been far from easy.
He never expected a small place like Shimotsuki Village in the East Blue to harbor a master swordsman.
Following the Emperor's orders, he had gone to the dojo in Shimotsuki Village and found the master named Koushirou.
Naturally, Koushirou was unwilling to let anyone take his daughter's ashes.
It was a profound disrespect to the dead, as well as to him.
King didn't bother explaining much and directly engaged him in a fierce battle. Fortunately, he was slightly superior in strength.
However, since Koushirou was Kuina's father, King spared his life. After successfully retrieving the ashes, he headed to the West Blue.
The remains of the other target the Emperor wanted were located there.
But finding them proved to be quite difficult.
Left with no other choice, he could only search the island slowly. It took him several days before he finally discovered her bones in a hidden location.
Soon after, he returned with the bones boxed up.
He had no idea what the Emperor intended to do with them.
He quickly arrived at the courtyard to pay his respects to the Emperor.
"My Lord, it is done."
He then placed the two boxes on the ground.
Ryōsuke looked at the two boxes, feeling extremely pleased.
Next, he was going to resurrect Kuina, as well as Olvia, Robin's mother.
Standing to the side, King looked thoroughly confused.
"My Lord, what are you planning to do with these?"
He couldn't fathom a reason; these ashes and bones should have no value whatsoever.
Although the thought of resurrecting the dead crossed his mind, it seemed far too fantastical.
Ryōsuke smiled and replied.
"To resurrect them, of course."
King was visibly shocked upon hearing this. It was actually resurrection! To think this man possessed such miraculous methods.
Ryōsuke took the Sealing Bottle out of his system space, released the massive Ten-Tails, and had it spit out two White Zetsu clones.
The White Zetsu he had collected previously were all stored inside the Ten-Tails.
He had also grasped the Ten-Tails' method of creating White Zetsu; as long as he needed them, he could produce them.
This was to prepare for any contingencies, though the current amount would likely last him a very, very long time.
Then, he prepared to resurrect the two of them.
King was stunned. This colossal monster was ten times larger than Kaido's true dragon form he had seen before, giving off an incredibly terrifying aura.
However, it looked shriveled, giving the impression that something was wrong with the beast.
But for now, he focused on watching his Lord's resurrection method. Such a technique had never been heard of in the history of pirates.
Ryōsuke activated his Rinnegan.
"Impure World Reincarnation."
He successfully summoned their souls, and the White Zetsu transformed into the appearances of Kuina and Olvia.
Kuina naturally retained her appearance from when she was alive, which was essentially just a child.
Olvia looked like an exact replica of the current Robin, except her hair was grayish-white.
Then, he activated the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique.
The impure dirt on their bodies began to flake off.
With that, it was complete.
Kuina and Olvia slowly opened their eyes.
They looked completely bewildered.
*Weren't we dead?* they thought.
But their current situation didn't seem like the afterlife they would expect to see.
Kuina looked at the handsome man in front of her, and then at the other man wearing a black mask, who looked rather ferocious.
"Who are you? Why am I here?"
"Didn't I die?"
She remembered falling to her death; her father must have been incredibly devastated.
Ryōsuke smiled and spoke.
"I am the one who resurrected you. This is the Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets in the New World, and I am its Emperor."
Olvia was stunned.
She had died in the past, never expecting to actually be resurrected by someone.
She couldn't help but touch her chest over her heart.
A heart was actually beating there. She stroked her own skin, a surge of joy welling up inside her—this was the skin of a living person.
She looked at the man before her with pleasant surprise.
*In that case, wouldn't I be able to finish what I left undone in life?* she wondered.
*I don't know how much time has passed... How is my daughter, Robin, doing now?*
Kuina was equally shocked; she had actually been brought back to life.
This was indeed a human body. If so, she could go back and see her father.
She spoke with anticipation.
"My Lord, could you send me back to Shimotsuki Village in the East Blue?"
She knew about the New World; it was a place swarming with pirates, all of them incredibly powerful. For a little girl like her to return on her own would be immensely difficult.
Although she once harbored the grand dream of becoming the world's greatest swordsman, she hadn't achieved it yet.
Ryōsuke replied with a smile.
"I'm afraid not. I resurrected you, which means you belong to me from now on. Do you have a problem with that?"
Kuina could be considered a budding short-haired beauty.
When she grew up, she would undoubtedly become a formidable master of swordsmanship, and naturally, any children she bore would be exceptionally intelligent.
Thinking of Kuina reminded him of how she had actually died from falling down the stairs.
What a fragile way to die.
Other people in this world were like unkillable cockroaches, constantly bouncing back from the brink of death.
Fortunately, he had the power of resurrection to fulfill his lingering regrets.
After speaking, Ryōsuke stored away the Ten-Tails and looked at King.
"King, you may leave."
King was already wearing an expression of absolute shock.
They had actually been resurrected. It seemed his Lord truly was a god.
When they eventually faced the World Government and the Celestial Dragons, they would definitely be able to annihilate them.
All he had to do was wait for that moment to arrive.
He obediently took his leave.
