Kyle flickered a few times and reached under the neck of the mutated Black-Armored Monitor. He reached out, grabbed the points iron token, and yanked it hard, snapping the chain holding it.

The tearing force seemed to wake the mutated Black-Armored Monitor, making it let out a low growl as a giant claw swung towards Kyle.
Kyle's figure flickered abruptly, dodging the claw of the Black-Armored Monitor.
Having missed its target, the Black-Armored Monitor seemed even more dazed, letting out a low growl but not pursuing further.
"Haha, five hundred points are mine. The Newcomer King is bound to be me this year."
