Wind blew harshly as Roy stood before the six Lords, shirtless, with silky blue baggy pants billowing in the wind.
Seeing the stunned silence among the Lords, Roy's brows raised as he asked:
"What? You guys need something else? If not, scram!"
Alstera blinked.
"Are you sure that is your answer? Do you want benefits? Trading resources, information? We can do that…" She continued to negotiate, not giving up yet.
Beneath her veil, her pearly white teeth pressed upon her delicately sculpted lips.
"You fool… if you refuse, we have to be enemies then. And I don't want to be your enemy."
Her heart raced as memories from her past resurfaced.
Back on Earth, when she was just 19, she had a perfect life…
