With them looking at anastasia, i can only shrug with her.
"Well, we are not really sure ourselfs."
"It felt like it was just ingrained in us i guess?"
As i make both of me shrug.
With the others seeing that we or rather I might not be able to explain furthur, they drop the subject for now before the commander and nelly starts saying their goodbyes, so the others do so aswell.
As we see nelly and her squad off, the commander turns around to us and sighs.
"Alright. This base is somewhat essential so lets get it fixed up, zoya take anastasia with you and teach her somethings. Johan you're with me."
"Alright" "Alright" responding with both of me at the same time.
"Eugh... that still creeps me out..."
"Oh shut it zoe. Alright anastasia, just follow me and I'll teach you the ropes." As zoya walks past zoe and motions anastasia to follow.
Meamwhile i head over to the commander with johan followed by zoe.
"Zoe, i have johan with me. Go help raisa on cleaning the place up." Says the commander as he then motions for me to follow aswell.
With zoe pouting, "aw but thats boring!, but fine. It is an order." As she walks away leaving me following the commander as he points at me and him then towards an electrical box.
"Alright, lets start with this."

After about what seemed like 45 minutes the commander teaching me some basic stuff about the junction boxes he stands up and nods, "alright that should do it."
"In addition to fort repair, we also need to deploy the anti-aircraft gund and air-defence radar."
As i stand back up and nod, and hearing some "rogers" and "okay's" through the commander's radio.
With the commander then picking up is radio, "okay, you girls take care of those machines and me and johan will handle the paperwork. Because it seems like we are gonna be staying here for a while."
As i then hear a "booo!" From zoe echoing through the walls with johan and anastasia.
About a week later...
The base's have been restored to the basic functions to pre-attack levels.
As i was doing some streches with zoya as anastasia, johan resting on a mskeshift sofa.
Zoe sprawled out on the other side of it, and rasia is checking her gear.
With the commander stepping out of a room, "alright, enough rest. Its time to leave."
Before grabbing a two backpacks and tossing one to me.
Then walking out the base.
Zoe rattled by the sudden thud that landed on the sofa and on me gets up quickly, "Leave? To where?"
But the commander didnt respond as we all looked st each other then back to the door he walked out the base from. We start to follow.
And after catching up to him, after having walked for quite a bit now.
Zoe somewhat confused and irritated, "Aren't you going to tell us where to go? We could attract the attention of beast tanks if we continue to meander..." (￢_￢)
Noticing her slight irritation, "Alright, alright. I'll tell you later." As he continues to lead us towards another dirt path.
And after a bit more walking, the commander breaks the chatter of zoe asking me or anastasia a barrage of questions.
"The goal this time is the research institute somewhere on the seigfried line."
With zoya cutting in, "I know the institute, but i don't normally use this route."
The commander nodding, "yep, i deliberately took a detour."
Making zoe stop for a bit before running to catch up, "eh? Why?" (・_・?)
"You'll know in a while" as the commander continues and says nothing else as he continues to lead the group.
With zoe pouting and mumbling to herself, 'hmph, your skill to make me intrigued is second to you showing off...' (￣～￣ )
But before we could progress further a few roars from over the next hill can be heard.
"Beast tanks, you girls know what to do. Raisa scout it out. Zoya, zoe stay close. There isn't much cover in this field for us."
As the commander lets zoya and zoe walk infront of him and us, and rasia running ahesd to keep over the hill before returning to the group.
"Its a pack of chimps, and two Archimedes"
Nodding the commander orders rasia and zoe to separate the group. Before turning back to both of me. "You two, get behind those shrubs over there. I'll be nearby. Zoya let's go."
With a nod zoya the girls rush forwards followed by the commander trailing behind.
Leaving me "alone" in the shrubs.
'Ugh... im kinda starting to hate being well a civilian right now... if only i thought of taking out or asking zoya to take out the gun on that test coon turret. Since well i supposed i could always scavenge for ammo that, that gun uses. Since well its just one of the test coon guns. And test coons are basically the cannon fodder of cannon fodders. So i doubt i'd run out of shells that quickly. Though.... i suppose carrying ammunition for it is definetly risky.'
After a while, i hear the roars and gunshots quiet down. Meaning that the battle just ended as i peek out from the shrubs with johan and spot the commander and the girls walking back to me...us... yeah that is still confusing.
"You two alright?" As the commander then stops by the bush i was both hiding behind.
"Yeah we're fine. Is it done?"
"Yep! Preety easy!" Zoe chimes in with a victory pose.
As she then turns around to look smugly at zoya. She spots three familiar figures squinting her eyes as she watches the figures walk closer. "Huh? Nelly, Lena and Prima?"
With zoe's mention everyone turns tonthe approaching figures while i help myselfs up and around the shrubs.
"What are you guys doing here?" Asks zoe with an.... well... (・_・) face.
