—Serafall Leviathan—
Serafall flew at the fastest speed her body allowed, the friction against the wind nearly ripping her wings apart. But neither she nor the fair-haired woman flying beside her slowed down. Both of them were fixated on one thing alone: reaching the source of the chaotic energies before something horrible occurred.
"Not very far now!" Carmilla stated, silently cursing herself for not leaving behind safe teleportation points and instead turning the entire landmass into an impenetrable fortress.
Serafall, however, didn't say a word. There were thousands of thoughts circling her mind, countless scenarios, but she was superstitious enough not to voice them.
The situation already looked stupid enough.
There was a devil who had unsealed his True Form. There was Tannin, whose signature was weak. Another devil carried a draconian presence that had gone quiet, possibly injured or fainted. Then there was Sirzechs, whose energy signature was stable and growing at a ridiculous rate.
'If he is trying to unseal his True Form, then someone has to stall Rizevim.'
And she knew exactly who that someone was, which made her heart ache.
Faiser's energy burned thick in the distance. The boy was pushing himself to his limit. She feared what would happen if a Satan-Class devil clashed head-on with a Super-Class existence, and yet, she still wanted to believe in Faiser.
'If it's him…' her heart ached. 'It has to be possible. He will do it!'
She was comforting herself, desperately trying to believe that Faiser would be safe, that he wouldn't die.
Demonic Power laced her body, hardening her flesh to better resist the friction. With that, she pushed her speed even further, and seeing this, Carmilla did the same.
"Is that…"
Serafall was so focused on Faiser's demonic signature that she completely missed the presence ahead of them.
"Ingvild Leviathan and Bova Tannin?"
Carmilla's words finally pulled Serafall back to the present. Looking ahead, she saw them flying some distance away: Ingvild and Bova, both battered and barely keeping themselves afloat.
They were Ultimate-Class devils, but Serafall's power utterly dwarfed theirs. The two sensed her presence almost instantly and turned their heads, shock flashing across their faces as they saw the duo bolting toward them.
"Lady Serafall?" Ingvild gasped.
Still, neither she nor Serafall slowed down.
Bova and Carmilla, meanwhile, instinctively reduced their speed, which made both girls frown.
"Keep the pace!" they yelled, unwilling to waste even a second with Faiser's life on the line.
Bova flushed with embarrassment for slowing down, nearly risking his King.
"What's going on?" he asked, his curiosity barely masking his nervousness.
Serafall didn't answer. She was busy calculating the distance between them and Faiser.
'About a minute and a half!'
"She says Rizevim Lucifer has awakened his True Form," Carmilla filled in. "A state that can't be beaten by anyone who isn't on the same level."
Their faces turned grim. It didn't take a genius to understand that the presence they felt was something they could never hope to match. It existed in a realm entirely its own, distant and unreachable.
Even for Serafall, who could technically lean toward a True Form due to her mastery over her traits, it wouldn't be enough. Not against Rizevim, Sirzechs, or Ajuka.
The True Form acquired upon reaching the Super Class — an entirely made-up term for anyone whose power far surpassed that of a Satan — was a state that dwarfed any and all forms a devil could use.
Back when Serafall first witnessed Rizevim's True Form, she had been frozen in place. The devil's power was unmatchable. Anything and everything she threw at him was simply erased.
And just as she thought even her very presence would be wiped away, Sirzechs and Ajuka came to her rescue. If not for them, she wouldn't have survived.
And in truth, she was meant to die.
It was the sacrifice of Faiser's parents that bought her enough time to live, and enough time for Sirzechs and Ajuka to unseal their True Forms.
'No, I will not let him suffer the same fate!'
She couldn't forgive herself to this day. She still saw their faces, their smiling faces, right as they were killed.
'I failed them once. I cannot fail again by letting their son go through the same damn thing!'
"Lady Serafall?" Bova questioned. She realized she had missed the entire conversation while fixated on Faiser's presence. "Can we win?"
She didn't know.
It didn't matter.
What mattered was protecting Faiser and buying enough time for Sirzechs to awaken his True Form.
"We will save him." That was all she said.
She still wasn't certain how Faiser was exerting so much Demonic Power after fighting a dragon, multiple legions of the Tepes faction, and even facing Crom.
But knowing him, she believed he was risking his life just to maintain that power.
"He's close!" she said, sensing Faiser's signature growing thicker. But it wasn't only about Faiser. The energy around Sirzechs was also reaching its limit. The man was on the verge of awakening his True Form, and she had to be there to protect Faiser.
'Seconds!' she counted. 'Just a few more!'
That was when her heart dropped.
"W-What's that presence?" Ingvild's voice cracked. "It's Lord Faiser's presence, but… it's violent."
Serafall's eyes widened. She knew exactly what Faiser was doing.
'No. No. No!'
She remembered his parents doing something similar, burning the last strands of their energy to wield Time and Space. It had crippled them, leaving them vulnerable long enough for Rizevim to erase them.
'Faiser, please stop!'
She begged, even without knowing the exact details, certain that it was the Wield ability of Valefar and Barbatos — and in its most potent and terrifying form.
His father's skin had cracked. His mother's body had dried up when they used that power. In no world, no timeline, did she want to see Faiser suffer the same fate.
"It's violent!" Bova yelled, sensing time and space bending, defying logic and the very rules of the world.
'Seconds!'
She pushed herself harder, and finally, she saw him.
Faiser drew on every last bit of strength he had, carving through a dense mass of gathered Demonic Power. He succeeded. The energies split apart, and something fell from within the cluster — a fragment of something unknown.
She didn't know what it was.
Only that Faiser was risking his life for it.
He grabbed it without hesitation as the energies reformed, twisting back into a humanoid shape.
The very shape and form she had desperately tried to erase from her memory.
Rizevim Lucifer was fully back in his True Form, and even without a face, the devil was fuming.
"DaMeD sCoUnDrEl!"
He unleashed an attack, and Serafall had only one concern.
Protecting Faiser.
"Protect him!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, burning through her Demonic Power to create a terrifyingly massive wall of ice around the boy, a last-ditch shield against the incoming attack.
She wasn't fast enough to protect him from the fall, though.
Thankfully, the girls beside her were.
"Aqua Cushion!"
"Blood Vortex!"
One woman formed a spiraling vortex of blood, generating force to slow the descent, while the other created a dense bed of water that would spare his body from impact once he dropped low enough.
Faiser's falling body slowed drastically as water and blood wrapped around him.
Serafall saw the boy smile right before he lost consciousness, his body completely drained of Demonic Power.
Her heart dropped for a moment, but thankfully, he was still breathing.
"YoU fUcKs!"
The being of energy launched another attack toward them. This time, however, his power felt weaker, unstable.
Serafall clenched her teeth, preparing to counter with everything she had left.
But at the critical moment, another presence tore through the battlefield.
"Power of Destruction: Absolute Erasure."
The force behind it was nearly twice as terrifying as Rizevim's faltering energy, and she finally sensed him in his full glory.
Sirzechs Lucifer.
The Devil King.
Satan Lucifer.
He had entered his True Form.
The human-shaped Power of Destruction.
Destruction given sentience.

—Sirzechs Lucifer—
Sirzechs had questions. Far too many of them.
While unsealing his powers, he sensed Faiser taking countless blows from Rizevim and still remaining alive. If anything, the boy seemed unharmed.
That alone set off countless alarms in his mind. Whatever Faiser was using, it had to come at a terrible cost.
Sirzechs pushed himself faster, and when his eyes finally opened, his body was gone, replaced by nothing but the Power of Destruction itself.
The first thing he saw was a falling Faiser and a weakening Rizevim.
"Power of Destruction: Absolute Erasure."
He erased the attack rushing toward the falling devil. He couldn't save Faiser from the fall, but thankfully, the women around him did.
Carmilla, Queen of the Vampires. Ingvild, the last true Leviathan. Serafall, a Satan of the Underworld.
They all burned through everything they had to protect Faiser.
"Rizevim," Sirzechs stepped forward, each step erasing earth and air alike. Matter vanished the moment it came into contact with his crimson form. In this state, he was Destruction. He was Death. "You stop here."
He raised his hand.
Rizevim growled like a rabid beast.
"YoU dO nOt HaVe WhAt It TaKeS tO sToP mE! PrEtEnDeR!"
If Sirzechs embodied Destruction in his True Form, then Rizevim was Falsehood. Non-existence given shape.
Sirzechs erased matter.
Rizevim made matter meaningless.
They were equals. In some situations, Rizevim might have even been superior.
But not now.
Not when he had unsealed himself through an external medium.
He hadn't removed the seals properly. He had ripped them apart through brute force.
And now that the medium was gone — Sirzechs suspected Faiser was responsible — Rizevim's seals were beginning to claw their way back into place.
This gave Sirzechs the edge.
"BaStArDs!" Rizevim yelled, his energy flickering violently. "ThIeVeS, uSuRpErS!" His voice rose higher and higher. "YoU sToLe FrOm Me! My BlOoDlInE! My NaMe! My DeViLs! My UnDeRwOrLd!" His scream was filled with wrath and despair. "AnD eVeN tHe AsUrA!"
Sirzechs didn't know what Asura was. He had never heard the name before.
It didn't matter.
"You lost your bloodline," Sirzechs replied, erasing every attack hurled by the maddened devil. "You drove away the very devils who supported you. You tortured them. You treated them like pests. You lost them. They left you. We didn't steal anything from you."
Sirzechs had lived through the era when the old heads ruled the devil world, and he never wished to see that age return. The discrimination. The segregation. The miserable quality of life. He wouldn't wish it on anyone.
"Your name," Sirzechs continued, "the devils chose it for us. I never called myself Lucifer. They did."
His power surged forward. "The Old Satan Faction has terrorized this world long enough, Rizevim. It's time for it to end."
Rizevim was close to winning. The realization terrified Sirzechs, but he knew the truth.
If not for Faiser, Rizevim would have won.
The boy had thrown himself into devil politics, actively joining battles, boldly taking sides instead of hiding in the comfort zones most devils clung to.
If not for Faiser, if not for his open rebellion, the Underworld would have been doomed.
"YoU fOoLs!" Rizevim roared. "He WaS nEvEr MeAnT tO lIvE! He Is A fReAk—"
"Quiet!"
Two shouts rang out, accompanied by a spear of ice and a blade of water.
Serafall and Ingvild yelled in unison, "He is the reason the devil world is being freed from corruption, from tyranny!"
"This is the end, Rizevim."
An attack surged from Sirzechs' palm, formed of pure Power of Destruction. It existed for one purpose only.
To erase.
There was no escape. Only death.
Rizevim's form twisted violently, his face briefly returning to something human before dissolving back into raw energy.
"He WaS nEvEr MeAnT tO bE tHe AsUr—"
The words were cut off as Sirzechs' power consumed him. The son of Lucifer didn't possess enough strength to resist it. The True Devil's power erased him completely.
His body vanished before their eyes as he let out one final scream.
The last words he would ever speak.
"He WiLl Be A wOrSe MoNsTeR tHaN mE!" the dying devil howled. "ReMeMbEr ThAt!"
And then, every last atom of Rizevim's existence disappeared, erased in its entirety.
Still, there was no celebration. No cheers. No joy.
Only fulfillment.
The settling of a debt long overdue.
A debt to their teachers. To Valefar and Barbatos.
And a debt to the boy lying unconscious in the arms of a vampire and two devils.
'Is this enough, Lord Faustus? Lady Isolde?'
Sirzechs already knew the answer.
It wasn't.
Nothing ever would be enough.

{A/N: Got a pat reon named RedLamp01 with 30+ chapters + Other Stories.
I should really start thinking before acting. Since I was recovering for months, I had practically given up on the gym. And I restarted 2 days ago, that too I went hard. I tried hitting my previous PRs and that was a bad move. The pain/soreness practically made me sick.
Tip for everyone else as well, take maybe a few days to get back into the habit, let your body readjust before fucking up like me. 😭
Also,Faiser's stocks are about to be sky-high within the supernatural world after this .😀}
