I yank my sword out, cleaning it on its fur. The blood pooling out of him soaks the ground below.
"You are so awesome," Alnitak praises me through the mindlink.
Stepping towards him I pat Zevran's head. He nuzzles me with eyes closed.
"We need to keep moving," Kacir quietly says through the mindlink.
We resume our journey, leaving the creature behind.
I can't shake the feeling that Yeti was sent on purpose and it somehow relates to the fact that I call Saiph a Yeti.
They know things about me that I haven't told anyone.
How? My mind keeps spiralling thinking about that.
Clinging to Zelen, I let him take me forward through this blistering storm. Even with his fur and body heat I am trembling. The cold is pervading through me.
