April, crouched by the door playing on her phone, heard the shop door push open and called out without looking up.
Grand Watt turned his head to glance at her. He had already heard from Garrett about Li Qingyuan hiring a retired journalist as a maid, so April's presence didn't surprise him in the least.
"I'm here to see the boss about something!" Watt said with a slight smile at April, then lowered his voice.
"Uh! Uh! Sure! Would you like a cup of coffee?" April bounced to her feet, eyeing the much taller Watt with a hint of scrutiny.
She had been working here for almost a month and hadn't seen a single customer. Even if a curious person occasionally wandered in, the indifferent staff and the shockingly high prices on fake antiques would quickly drive them away.
In any other shop, a store like this wouldn't last three days. But April knew her boss's fortune was more than enough—this shop existed purely to pass the time. So she was content to slack off.
Still, she was a media university graduate, and her habits and instincts had been honed over the years.
This antique store was just a public facade. Her boss undoubtedly had a secret identity behind the scenes.
And the man standing in front of her, here to see the boss, clearly knew something about that hidden identity.
Even though she was no longer a journalist, a woman's curiosity could not be underestimated. April was naturally intrigued by what exactly Li Qingyuan's shop sold.

"There's a faction investigating you. They sent me to give you a heads-up," Watt said softly, making sure April couldn't hear.
In this era, S.H.I.E.L.D. was like a sieve. When Nick Fury assigned missions to Phil Coulson, he strictly instructed him to keep them confidential. And Coulson, as a rookie village chief, hadn't disclosed anything.
But even if Coulson remained tight-lipped, it didn't help. When he accessed police records in New York, he had to use S.H.I.E.L.D.'s internal network.
And as the last true heir of Hydra, Coulson's movements could not be hidden from anyone.
So once it was discovered that Coulson had classified Li Qingyuan as a high-level suspect, Watt followed Garrett's orders to come notify him immediately.
"What do you want me to do?" Li Qingyuan shrugged. He was powerless over his exposed identity. Some people were destined to shine wherever they were placed.
