Third Person POV
While Amethyst and her friends are at Rhett's cabin they aren't alone. Someone has followed them and has been hiding in the shadows watching their every move. Anger and jealousy stirs inside as they watch Amethyst and Rhett cozying up.
"Amethyst is mine." They growl out. "I will kill that guy."
'No one gets to touch what's ours without consequences.' Their wolf agrees. 'She's always been ours and soon we will have her. We just need to bide our time.'
They leave before the group leaves on Sunday, making sure to cover their tracks as to not be discovered. When they get home they plot, coming up with a plan to get to Amethyst. They desperately want her, they always have and they will stop at nothing to make sure they get her.
Amethyst's POV
This weekend has been incredible. I'm so happy Rhett took us to his cabin, we all needed it. It has definitely been a wonderful de-stressing trip. Unfortunately now we have to get back to reality. Tomorrow is Monday and the beginning of finals. Luckily for me I don't have that many. One of the benefits of getting "A's" as a final grade every marking period means I don't have to take certain finals. However, that doesn't mean I won't be crazy busy. Since I knew I wasn't going to have a lot of finals, and so I wasn't home alone while everyone took theirs, I volunteered to help with graduation preparations. The staff in charge of our graduating class has been extremely hard at work making sure it all comes together along with trying to make sure they close out their teaching year with a bang. It's been extremely fun to work with them and I will definitely miss them once I graduate. I plan to visit since I still have a lot of siblings that have to make their way through school but it won't be the same.
I am currently making copies of the graduation program, we finally got the finalized outline and this is a pretty easy task to do.
"Hello Miss Grey, how's the copying going?" Mr. Smith one of the English teachers asks.
"Great, just about finished. Any other tasks for me today?"
"I'm not sure, you can hand those to me and go ask my wife when you're done, I'm sure she'll have something for you to do. After all she's in charge and I'm just her extra set of hands like you." He chuckles. "She's in her classroom, you'll have about 10 minutes before the next exam starts."
"Thanks Mr. Smith, I will go do that." I grab the last few copies and hand him the box as I walk out and down the hall to Mrs. Smith's classroom.
The Smith's are this adorable senior couple that work at the school, Mrs. Smith is a math teacher and like I said Mr. Smith is an English teacher. They both are retiring this year so it's bittersweet but since Mrs. Smith is in charge of the graduation ceremony she's been saying she's graduating too. We all love it so much. They don't know it but one of the other teachers and us students who have been helping out have a fun graduation surprise for them, complete with a diploma we crafted just for them.
After I get the next task from Mrs. Smith I head to my locker to grab a few things I need. I've be slowly cleaning my personal stuff out before I leave everyday but it's been a great place to store things for graduation. Helps me stay organized and I don't have to worry about anyone moving my tasks. Once I open the locker I feel a vibration coming from my phone. Since most everyone is either taking their finals or working I almost ignore it but then it buzzes again.
Unknown: Hello my precious gem, it's been a while. I miss you. Hope you are missing me too. I can't wait to see you again.
Unknown: {Picture Sent} you are so beautiful.
I read the message confused, it could be Cliff with a new number but he's never called me his precious gem before. It's weird. When I click on the picture I gasp and start to panic looking around the area. It's a picture of me standing at my locker gathering my things. It's not an old photo, it's current, like literally taken before it was sent current. I try to scent the air but I don't catch anything new.
'I don't smell anything but normal school scents either. Maybe it's a student or maybe it's one of Cliff's friends who took the picture and sent it to him.' Summer says.
'I don't know either, but whoever it is they are watching us and we need to be careful, keep our guard up. Luckily nothing can happen on school grounds but we should probably tell Rhett or someone so we are not alone.'
'Agreed, just don't freak out Hazel and Jade by letting them know. They have enough to worry about with their finals.'
'Okay, let's get going.' I shut and lock my locker, turn to where I got to go and ignore the message. I will deal with it once I talk with Rhett. Sometimes it's nice dating someone with connections.
