"No! No, I swear I didn't kill her!" James insisted, his voice cracking with renewed panic. He stepped back, running his trembling hands through his hair. "I knew she was pregnant! I would never, ever kill her! I loved her, and she was carrying my child!" His voice was a mix of sorrow and warmth.

"If you want to know who killed her," James continued, his voice regaining some strength as he desperately shifted the blame, "you need to look at the man she was seeing. Adrian. That dinner date? He was the one who told me where to buy those ties! He bragged about his favorite shop. And worse he sold expensive knives and since I liked them I traded with him, that was how I had these knives, I am not the one who owns the tie or knife you saw in the suicide scene or homicide."
