Chapter 162 - Chapter 162: I Advise You Not to Meddle

As Lin and Lala conversed in the second-floor living room, an angel in the Heaven Realm, beyond multiple spatial barriers, activated her Clairvoyance. Her gaze pierced through layers of spatial walls, observing Earth and outer space. After a quick scan of outer space, she focused on Lin and Lala.

Her gaze first fell on Lala. Upon seeing her, the angel quickly deduced her true identity, her eyes shifting almost imperceptibly. Finally, she looked at Lin.

"Oh? This person!"

Her gaze narrowed slightly at the sight of Lin, surprise blooming in her eyes. Although separated by a vast distance and multiple spatial barriers, she still perceived something unique about Lin. Then, Lin's seemingly perceptive reaction reflected in her eyes.

She blinked, and a flicker of astonishment appeared in her eyes. "Did he detect my observation?"

"I didn't expect such a special existence to appear on Earth."

Her Clairvoyance, when cast across countless worlds, only revealed a handful of beings capable of sensing her presence. Yet Lin had.

She withdrew her gaze from Lin, then briefly observed a disc-shaped spaceship silently entering Earth's atmosphere. Finally, she retracted her vision. She wasn't overly concerned that these aliens would cause issues on Earth, potentially destabilizing the Human Realm.

Meanwhile, in Nerima Ward of the Human Realm.

Peke turned its head to look at Lin, then back at Lala.

"Lala-sama, who is this Earthling?"

"He is Lin," Lala said with a brilliant smile. "He's the owner of this room."

"I see." Peke acknowledged her words.

Lala then looked at Lin, still smiling.

"Lin, this is Peke, the versatile transformation robot I created."

Peke turned to Lin. "Hello, nice to meet you."

"Hello, Peke." Lin nodded to it.

"Wait, let me put on some clothes." Lala said with a smile to Lin, then looked at Peke. "Peke, I'm counting on you."

"Understood!"

Peke flew into the air and raised both hands.

"Change of clothes: Western Dress Mode."

The next moment, its body erupted in white light, forming strips of white fabric that wrapped around Lala. The light enveloped Lala, obscuring her body from view. The changing process was very short, over in the blink of an eye. Despite the brevity, Lin's abilities allowed him to see everything clearly.

Once the transformation was complete, Peke's voice emanated from the hat on Lala's head.

"Does it feel tight, Lala-sama?"

Lala moved around, smiling. "Mm, it's just right. It's truly wonderful you arrived so quickly, Peke." After all, Lin had previously mentioned that a girl's body shouldn't be casually revealed to the opposite sex, a point she had quietly committed to memory.

"Ta-da..."

Lala twirled on the spot, then looked at Lin, a look of anticipation on her face.

"Lin, what do you think?" she asked. She particularly liked this outfit, which replicated Peke's likeness.

Lin eyed the outfit, which, despite its strict coverage, strongly resembled certain erotic attire. He raised his eyebrows slightly, a peculiar expression in his eyes.

"It's certainly nice, but it's not very appropriate to wear out on Earth. People might misunderstand."

"Huh? Misunderstand?" Lala looked at Lin in confusion. "What kind of misunderstanding?"

"Uh..." Lin considered his words before explaining, "If you wear this out, some people might mistakenly believe you're a 'bad girl'."

"Oh, is that so!" Lala couldn't help but be surprised. She had always assumed Earth and Planet Deviluke were quite similar. While they might appear alike, there were, in fact, many differences.

Peke then spoke.

"Lala-sama, shall we change your attire?"

Having been frequently worn by Lala, Peke was aware of Earth's unique status within the galaxy. As the adage goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." If Lala intended to reside on Earth long-term, it would be best to adapt to local customs to avoid unnecessary complications. Furthermore, it didn't want Lala to be misunderstood by the planet's inhabitants.

Lin took out his phone and searched for clothing images.

"How about this one?"

He handed the phone to Lala. He recalled that Peke possessed the ability to scan and independently design desired clothing styles, so a picture should suffice.

"Seems pretty nice!" Lala's eyes lit up as she looked at the picture on Lin's phone.

"Peke."

"Understood, Lala-sama."

Lala's clothing began to transform, becoming a white, half-sleeved dress with a ribbon cinching her waist. Her long pink hair cascaded down her back, with two strands falling gracefully over her shoulders. Peke manifested as a round badge, affixing itself to her left hip.

Her snow-white forearms, exposed from the half-sleeves, resembled peeled lotus roots, while her slender, fair fingers were like delicate scallion stalks.

Lala twirled on the spot, the skirt hem reaching her mid-calves, rotating and fluttering like a blooming flower.

"Lin, does it look good?" she asked.

"It looks wonderful and suits you perfectly." Lin nodded, smiling.

"Hee-hee..." Lala revealed a happy smile.

"Someone else has arrived."

Just then, sensing something, Lin glanced towards the balcony.

"Huh?!"

Lala was slightly stunned. She followed Lin's gaze outside once more.

Two figures, like black blurs, descended onto the balcony at high speed, then flashed into the living room. They were two middle-aged men. They wore sharp black suits and sunglasses. Indeed, they cut quite a stylish figure. Their expressions were grim, tinged with anger.

The red-haired middle-aged man spoke in a deep voice. "You truly are a distinguished personage, prone to causing trouble for others. This time, we will take you back, even if we must forcibly restrict your freedom. You won't be given another chance to escape."

"It's you!"

Lala was startled by the sudden appearance of the two men. Her expression darkened slightly, and she couldn't help but lightly bite her silver teeth.

"Peke!"

Peke, beads of sweat forming on its metallic surface, responded, "Yes!"

A visible vein pulsed on Lala's forehead.

"I told you, didn't I? To be absolutely careful not to be tracked!"

At this, Peke hastily apologized.

"I'm sorry, Lala-sama!"

Lala stomped her foot in frustration.

"You stupid machine! Now the plan is ruined, don't you know?"

Peke responded, "Sumimasen!!!"

The red-haired man, still wearing his sunglasses, ordered, "Let's go. Come back with us."

A quiet cough cut through the tension. Everyone turned to look at the source.

Lin looked at them, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"I say, you two. First, you barged into my home uninvited. Ignoring me, your host. And now you presume to take away my newly met friend right in front of me? You're really not taking me seriously, are you?"

"Earthling..."

The two middle-aged men exchanged a glance. Then the red-haired man looked at Lin, his expression remaining impassive as he stated in a deep voice, "While I apologize for this intrusion, some matters are beyond your purview. I advise you not to meddle."

He then turned his gaze back to Lala.

"Come with us."

Due to Earth's unique characteristics, they wouldn't have even casually approached the solar system if not for Lala. They sought to avoid any further complications.

"What if I refuse?" Lin reached out, gently pulling Lala behind him, a faint smile on his face.

"Lin..." Lala's gaze flickered as she looked at the tall figure shielding her.
