Lyra was jolted out of her old memories by the snap of twig she heard, she turned to know who the intruder was she was met with a furry crimson eyes staring right at her .
She gently rose from the the stone, she ran forgetting her clothes there. The creature ran behind running too fast for any human to comprehend, but it suddenly stopped when Lyra ran into the ancient tample.
The creature stepped into light, it's hugely body can now be fully see by Lyra, it snarled and his bones creaked as he shift into human, that was when Lyra knew that it was a werewolf,he tried to step into the temple but he was pushed back by an invisible barrier that didn't stop Lyra,he couldn't see the barrier but he felt it,he gave her one last look before running back the route he chased her from.
The ancient temple is a place where no one or creature has ever crossed, with the the mysterious barrier that is protecting it.It was surprising how a human crossed it without any setback.
Lyra turned and was faced with a huge ancient temple that tower over her with candles around the temple including the inner temple but she saw no one else there apart from her.
Standing before the temple, she felt the strange energy that was emanating from within.Suddenly the door burst open and Azgaroth emerges.
His presence is imposing, his massive frame and piercings eyes commanding attention.Lyra felt a shiver ran down her spine as Azgaroth gaze fell upon her.
Azgaroth was taken aback by her bravery,he expected her to cower in fear but instead she stood tall her eyes glowing with determination.Intrigued,he began to circle her in a predatory steps, studying her every angle,he senses that she is different from others, she possessed a spark within her that can be fanned to flames.
Lyra felt chills ran down her spine under Azgaroth's scorching gaze but maintained her composure, even though she was among those that tremble in fear when his was mentioned, Azgaroth knew it is hard for any living creature to cross the barriers of the temple talk more of coming out alive.what surprised Azgaroth was how this mere mortal got into the temple standing here looking at him like she owned the place. His face was expressionless while he studied the mere mortal.
"What are you doing here?" He finally asked as he stopped at her back.Lyra gulped to wet her dried throat
"Stop the act,i know you are not mute,so SPEAK!!!" He said his jaws clenched tightly as said the last word in low growl.
Lyra fumbled the hem of her dress, gulping down a huge ball of saliva to wet her patched up voice."I...I.. i was being chased by a huge creature, but i couldn't make out it's face." She said in controlled voice.
"Get back !" He said his voice tinged with authority.
"No ...please there's a huge creature out there it wants to kill me."she said as she took a step to retreat into the temple .
Azgaroth's nose flared in annoyance, why can't this mortal just listen.he thought glaring at her.
" Don't take any more step in there ." He said his more authorized than the last.
"..p..please"She said tears brimming her eyes, her voice almost a whisper.
"Why you so stubborn?"He asked in annoyance,in all his life,no one has ever defied him excluding this mortal, the mere thought of it got him more annoyed, his teeth grounded against each other as he tried hard not lash out on her.
"Please,i don't to lose my life,i will do anything.."she said felling on her knees.
"And why will you not?..."He snarled
Lyra was sure that the creature retreated because it felt Azgaroth's presence that's why it didn't wander around the place.
